Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies.The state of having all Eight Gates open is known as Eight Gates Released Formation (八門遁甲の陣, Hachimon Tonkō no Jin; English TV "Eight Inner Gates Formation"). Any shinobi who activates this state will temporarily gain powers greater than a Kage, but they will die because of the damage done to their body. While the gates are active the use of taijutsu moves does not deplete the users chakra pool but they are limited to the use of up to two B rank or lower taijutsu per round or one A rank or above.


The Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon), located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles allowing twice the normal strength of the body of the user. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus.

The Gate of Healing (休門, Kyūmon; English TV "The Gate of Rest"), located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. Opening this gate allows the user to restore half of the overall chakra pool after it has been open for a round.

The Gate of Life (生門, Seimon), located on the spinal cord. Allows the user to use the Reverse Lotus. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. It allows the user to perform the Leaf Hot Wind.

The Gate of Pain (傷門, Shōmon), located on the spinal cord. Increases the user's speed and power. May cause muscle tissue to tear on use.

The Gate of Limit (杜門, Tomon; English TV "The Gate of Closing"), per above. Located in the abdomen.

The Gate of View (景門, Keimon; English TV "The Gate of Joy"), per above. Located in the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. Opening of this gate releases such large amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user.

The Gate of Wonder (驚門, Kyōmon; English TV "The Gate of Shock"), per above. Located below the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. Those who open this gate pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. In the video games, allows the user to perform the Eternal Chaotic Dance. The aftereffects of opening the gate are that the users muscle fibers are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him.

The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. Opening this gate assures the user's death shortly after. (Must be S rank to open)

As each gate opens in addition to opening the use of each technique the user's power and speed are increased at a drastic rate, the actual rate is as follows:

Gate #1. +20% (1 Rank Increase)
Gate #2. +40% (2 Rank Increase)
Gate #3. +60% (3 Rank Increase)
Gate #4. +80% (4 Rank Increase)
Gate #5. +100% (5 Rank Increase)
Gate #6. +120% (6 Rank Increase)

Gate #8. +160% (8 Rank Increase)

In order to activate this jutsu it costs the normal amount for an A rank jutsu (40cp), to keep the gate you are using open you must pay 10cp per round however if you wish to open the next gate in line it will cost an additional 10cp (so on rounds where new gate is opened overall cost is 20cp). If the user falls to the point where they have no chakra left when the gates are disabled then they are subject to having their body seriously injured, how badly follows as such:

First Gate: No noticeable damage other than muscle soreness

Second Gate: Intense Fatigue, moves at half speed for three posts

Third Gate: Intense Fatigue, moves at half speed for five posts

Fourth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 500 words minimum)

Fifth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 1000 words minimum)

Sixth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 1500 words minimum)

Seventh Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 2000 words minimum)

Eighth Gate: Death, using the final gate will kill the user but they are free to use it until their chakra runs out.

Third Specialization - 4/8 gates. (One member can recieve, Filled.) Nahaji

He can't help but play around sometimes, even when the situation doesn't call for play. He enjoys exploring as well as fighting. Anything that involves a lot of activity is fun for him. He does have a mental disorder called Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder(ADHD). Meaning he is extremely hyper most of the time, and has a hard time staying in the same spot and focusing on anything for very long. Name: Chakra Scalpels

Description: A more advanced medical jutsu that is used as a blade during surgery, so the skin does not have to be cut, and surgery can be performed simply without having to wait for external wounds to heal after the procedure is over.
Used for surgical procedures, however this can be used in battle also. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin.
This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle. The technique uses 10 chakara points per post for a maximum of 10 posts (maximum normally used for medical procedures)

Description: Manipulating the chakra in their hand, the user can create an electric field to disrupt the target's nervous system. Because the brain and body communicate using electrical impulses, the user can use the field to disrupt the target's ability to move. Chakara usage of 20 points for the full effect, can be used twice during battle.
The result is the commands to move one body part being relayed to another, making it near impossible for the opponent to move unless they have high skill and understanding of the body or with time. Body delay lasts for it 3 posts for genin to chuunin, 2 posts for s. Jounin to jounin, and a single post for S rank. Medical jutsu specialists will be affected 2 posts for genin, chuunin, 1 for for S. Jounin to S rank

Personality: Ourora, the Wind Fox, is made of pure nature. It is made of a spirit of wind that whirls around and picks up leaves, flower petals, sand, grass blades, or any other light/loose items found in nature in order to take a definitive shape. It feels free, as wind does, and is not easily contained. It's voice sounds like a loud whisper, as it is carried across the wind around it. When hit by physical attacks, the attack directly hurts the spirit of the fox (because all it is is a spirit), so it appears to have long, empty spaces where hit with swords, fists, or what have you. It recovers by letting go with the wind and travelling throughout the breeze. In battle, it cannot heal its wounds by those means however, because it takes too long. This fox can move, because of the wind, at a speed equivalent to an A-rank ninja, but its strength is that of a Chuunin.

Name: Wind Release: Slash (Variant)

Description: Post charge equivalent to handseals at user's rank. The user envelopes their tail in wind chakra for the required time and then slashes their arm. From this, a compressed crescent of wind releases and heads straight for the enemy. Travelling at 40 mph, it can completely tear through anything less than steel and block anything that is equivalent to reinforced steel, including thrown projectiles and slashes from blades. The blast though, can only tear open an enemy up to an inch. The crescent shaped blast is 5 ft. in length but only 4 inches thick, but its damage is still substantial. 4 post cooldown.

Name: Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets

Description: Upon handseals and absorbing wind into the body through the mouth, the user can spit out bullets of purely compressed wind. Travelling at a mind blowing 150 mph, the bullets can be extremely deadly. The user can fire up to 5 per post, but no bullet can be within 1 and a half ft. of each other. The bullets can completely go through an enemy unless it hits a vital organ or a bone. If it hits bone, it completely shatters it. If it hits an organ it ruptures it. The user must stand in place to fire the bullets and can fire for up to 2 posts. This jutsu has a twice per topic usage, 10 post cooldown inbetween.

Personality: Sentouki, the fighting fox, is a massive show of brute force. Lacking very much intelligence, he makes up for it with sheer power. His 2 inch long claws (3 on each paw) are as sharp and sturdy as titanium. Meaning, they can cut through any material less durable than titanium. His fangs are equally as strong. His body mass is made of pure muscle, with absolutely no fat at all. He is mostly condescending. He feels as though he is better than most because of his perfect stature and sheer power, and he will let everyone know with sarcastic remarks. He has the ability to punch huge craters into the ground, and his roar alone can cause earthquakes. (See Jutsu)

Name: Curb Stomp

Distance: Self (Dimensions of Crater: 14ft. Diameter/5ft. Deep)
Description: Charge time equivalent to handseals at this rank. The user releases the chakra built up in one of their feet (in this case, paws) in the form of a massive stomp. This stomp can be used on the bare ground to create a crater. If any material were to be caught underneath the foot (or paw) of the user, anything less durable than steel would be completely flattened, and steel would be severely bent. If a person were to be caught under the foot (paw) of the user, any bone touched by the stomp would be broken, and muscles would be bruised, but the skin would not break. This can be used twice per topic, with a 5 post cooldown.

Name: Doton - Doryuu Heki (Earth Release: Earth Style Wall) (Variant)

Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Earth
Distance: 0-5 ft.
Description: The ninja will do the necessary charging (equal to handseals at this rank) and then spew a line of mud onto the ground. The mud will then grow into a large mud wall to help defend against incoming attack. The wall is 15 feet wide, 20 feet tall, and 4 feet thick. The wall can block up to A rank water jutsu, and all other B rnak jutsu except lightning. A C rank lightning technique can pierce it. The wall's strength is equivalent to reinforced steel, so any weapons that can damage reinforced steel can damage the wall.
A Jounin Rank or higher does not have to spew mud out, they can place their hands (Front paws) on the ground and the wall will rise. The wall's appearance can differ between jounin.
The wall forms at a speed of 10 ft/s, and lasts until it is destroyed. 5 post cooldown.

Name: Mighty Roar

Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Earth
Distance: 0-100 ft.
Description: Charge time equal to handseals at this rank. The user lets out a blood-curdling roar that will cause the ground to collapse within 100 feet of the user in every direction. The ground crumbles and falls 10 feet further down into the earth at a rate of 10 fps. Any inanimate object with less durability than reinforced steel will shatter completely if caught in the radius, including armor or weapons. If a person were to be caught in it, they will most definitely lose their footing and trip or fall over into the created trench. The chakra also expands out of the ground, and causes anything in flight in the air to fall into the trench if its within 20 feet of the ground. This jutsu can be used once per topic.

Personality: The Shroud King of the Fox, and the father of Kabuu, Shuraudo is the most powerful and wise of the fox summons. He has blood red claws that are as strong as titanium. They cut through anything not a durable as titanium, and are 3 inches long each. His fangs are constantly heated with electricity that is coursing through the venom canals into his teeth. His bites can melt through anything with less durability than titanium, but because of the heat, the wounds from his bites are cauterized. Meaning, his bite victims do not bleed out, but feel severe burning pain. His fangs are an inch long. The black blood flowing through his veins is filled with 975,000 volts and 0.4 amps of electricity. Meaning, is someone were to get his blood on them, they would receive temporary numbness in the tainted area for a single post. They would also receive 2nd degree burns where ever his blood touches on their skin. He has a deep voice, as dark as the forest he resides in. He is a genius in the art of strategic battle, and feels compelled to share his wisdom and talents with those worthy of receiving them. He is very kindly even with his evil facade. Those that dwell in the shadows are not necessarily always evil.

Name: Rairyū no Tatsumaki (Lightning Dragon Tornado)
Canon/Custom: Canon
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Lightning
Distance: 100 ft.
Description: Requires a number of rounds charging chakra through the user's body equal to the number of rounds that would otherwise be used to perform hand seals. After charging is complete the user will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon's head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex, if trapped within this vortex your entire body is covered in deep lacerations (about three inches) and second degree burns. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with the foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a target within ten feet of the dragon itself to cause first degree burns. The fully extended dragon is one hundred feet long and fifteen feet across (diameter). If it runs into another material it will be stopped unless that material is only as hard as steel or lower, which in that case the dragon can destroy and pass through to continue towards its target. The dragon lasts for a total of three rounds, meaning the user can continue to spin and thus control the dragon's movements for that long though they can not perform any other action nor can they begin charging chakra for anything else. The dragon moves at a speed of 45 mph. The dragon, however, will go away and the jutsu will end after if hits a target; meaning when it hits a person the damage is done and the dragon goes away regardless of if it has been 3 rounds yet or not. Once per topic.

When used with the kiba swords the additional 5 chakra to use the technique need not be paid as this technique is one that originally was made from those weapons and was later adapted for use without them. As is the ability of the weapon use of the blades increases the rank of the jutsu by one and raises damage from it accordingly, raising direct damage from the dragon to 5 inch lacerations and third degree burns and in-direct damage (the stray bolts bouncing off it within 10 feet) to second degree.

A Rank

Name: Wrath of the Fox
Canon/Custom: Custom
Type: Nintaijutsu
Element: Lightning
Distance: Self
Description: Charge time equal to handseals at this rank. The user coats their hand and claws in lightning chakra. In the form of a straight-handed punch, the user uses their claws to melt their way through the victim. The hand can enter the target as deep as 4 inches. This can be used to pierce a vital organ, making it especially lethal. This impact can melt through any material that has the durability of steel or lower. The skin 5 inches in every direction away from the immediate wound is electrically burned to the third degree. The entire part of the body hit by this attack will be completely numb for a post, making it unusable. In the next post, the area regains half of its feeling, and therefore half of the pain from the impact and burn. On the post after that, full pain and feeling can be felt again. This can be used once per topic.

S Rank

Name: Fokkusupanchi
Canon/Custom: Custom
Type: Nintaijutsu
Element: Lightning
Distance: Self (Fox Head: 20 feet)
Description: Charge time equal to handseals at this rank. The user fills either arm with an excessive amount of lightning chakra. The user then releases the chakra in the form of a punch. The chakra explodes out of the arm at the beginning of the initial punching movement, causing the fist to fly forward at an alarming rate of 120 mph. While the chakra is released, a massive fox head forms out of the chakra surrounding the arm. The fox head is 30 feet tall, and 15 feet wide. When the punch reaches its end, the giant fox head flies off of the arm and toward the target at the same speed of 120 mph for 20 feet. If the opponent is caught, the fox head bites down on them, engulfing their whole body in electricity. It causes full-body 3rd degree electrical burns, as well as full body numbness for two posts afterward. The grasp of the fox's bite destroys any material lower. If the actual punch from the user hits the target, it completely shatters any bone it makes contact with, and punches clean through the body. The punch itself can also pierce easily through anything less than the durability of diamond. Because of the speed of the punch, the arm literally flies out of the socket it was attached to, dislocating both the elbow and the shoulder of the arm used by the user. The arm doesn't literally come off of the user, but the bones inside of the arm are no longer attached to the torso of the user, making that arm unusable until a hospital or healing topic has been issued. This attack can be used once per week.
