The Journey Home

Takeshi emerged from the world tree garbed in his armor and tunic bearing the mjolnir holy symbol on it's chest, his clergy uniform seemed fitting for such an exit. It was apparently night time and while he had a feeling it had been about a week and a half since he entered he had no way of actually knowing that for sure until he returned to his home. Walking down the bark of the tree he soon found himself at the edge of the molten lake which had two boats docked upon it, one for him now and the other for his students when they completed their training here. Rowing across the vast expanse of silver liquid took quite a bit of his strength as well as a few hours but when he crossed he found himself at last in the cool embrace of rain which he had missed while technically indoors. He took off at a full sprint but due to the weight of his gear slightly slowing him it would be sun rise once more before he returned and the rain kicked into overdrive, the sky seemed to have its bottom fall out as the water from the sky hit the ground more than it had in years, so dense almost nothing could be seen, using that cover so to speak he went towards the temple on the hill, no doubt his family had stayed there while he was away and he ached to see them once more.
