Journey to The Land of Blazes

It was midnight, a soft breeze flowed through the air and the shaking of the thin trees that paved the swampy land of the Boars could be heard for a half a mile. Leaned up against one of these trees was Zetzray. He was staring up at the sky while waiting for his partner to finally emerge from their base. He was hoping that while Raleth was doing whatever it was that he did that he decided to leave the man they had captured some food and water.

Zetzray looked around him and gathered in his surroundings, with the help of the light breeze and his eagle eye compass this matter was simple. The time of night and the area reminded him of the first time that he had met Raixen, the weapon master Boar. It had been a while since he had seen Raixen, or any of the Boars for that matter. Zetzray missed them, and would hopefully be able to have a nice talk with any of them once he and Raleth returned. Many things had changed since Zetzray had first arrived in the land of the Boars and things were only going to change more and more.

Zetzray was wearing his remade version of his ANBU compression suit along with his two katana that were belted to his back in an X formation. he also had a large brown scroll that was slung over his back and lowered to the lower area of his back. His Anbu mask was positioned on the center of his face. Zetzray closed his eyes and waited 5 seconds before re opening them and once they were opened it would be seen that his eagle eye compass was no longer activated, leaving behind a pair of dull, cold and lifeless green eyes. He would then push his weight forward and get off of the tree and continue to wait for Raleth.

Raleth began to pack his things as his partner waited. He looked took in a deep inhale of smell, and the familiar scent of the island of the boar came in. His mind drifted to the first time he came to the land of the boar. It was the day they left the village, and they needed a place to call home. Zetzray was the one who had suggested the Boar area, as it was secluded from the trifles of the ninja world. As they came into the mystical swamp the ancient power emanating from the very mud overwhelmed Raleth, and as he met with the boss summon Barbados he...

The sound of muffled noise and wriggling snapped Raleth back into reality. He turned around to see the captive man squirming again. Good... he thought he hasn't been damaged severely. Zetzray would make me his next sacrifice if I killed off another one of his materials...again... Raleth's sensitive ears twitched as he heard the muffled scream, and it enraged Raleth. This man's voice was a bit high pitch, it seemed he was about 19 but still hadn't fully matured. Capturing him was fairly easy. All he had to do was give him some opium. In fact, from the scent of the guy, it seemed he was an addict. Which was perfect. No one would miss him, in fact, no one would care about him.

Raleth walked up to the guy and slapped him across the face, which caused him to scream. Suddenly a thought rang in Raleth's head, as if Zetzray was reminding him about the body. He grabbed the man by the collar and began to walk toward the stairs, going down into the lower levels, until he was in the fifth level underground, and threw the captive into the middle of a white room, with seals on in the center, on the walls, and on the ceiling. As the man hit the center seal Raleth placed his hands on the ground, and the seals began to glow. Chains sprouted from them, and wrapped around his arms, legs, and head. Raleth then took off the gag, but still kept the man's eyes bounded.

"Every three hours food and water will be brought to you. These chains are to keep you restrained, and force you to eat. But we can't force you to swallow. So here is a little motivation..."

Raleth places a seal with the kanji "explode" on the man's covered eyes, the seal spreading out to fit the 6 inch diameter seal.

"This seal can explode on my will. I have placed it on your face. The chains will tell me if you are eating or not. Fail to comply and die. Your choice"

Raleth's nose was filled with the scent of urine, and he looked down to see the man had pissed himself. Raleth laughed as he walked out. He met up with Zetzray, Raleth's mask was already on, and he was wearing his red coat, with the compression suit under it. He wore his bone-gauntlets, and had a huge scroll across his lower back.

"Everything's prepared"

Zetzray smirked at what Raleth had said. This meant that they could finally commence with phase two of their plan and soon enough everything they had planed would come into fruition. Zetzray nodded and the two of them started off in the direction that their boat would be. they would have to sail very far to make it to the land of volcanoes, and once they arrived it would be no easy feat acquiring what they needed for their plans. but never the less they were planned to arrive in the land of volcanoes within the next two days. "Raleth..have you heard of the legendary clan known as the Uchiha?" Zetzray would wait for his reply.

Zetzray had been reading two books for the most part. One of the Books was a book that he had stolen from an abandoned library in a temple that hadn't been inhabited for at least 4 decades. The book was on a forbidden art called Reanimation. Zetzray had always brushed off this idea as foolish and the fact that it was forbidden made it twice as foolish. But after many events in his career as a ninja, he began to winder about the possibilities and after a certain mission that he was assigned by his clan leader, he began to actually look into teh subject. He wondered if it was possible, or if anyone had accomplished it... and if he could accomplish it.

Zetzray and Raleth would continue walking until they came across a large ship. It was a wooden ship that was approximately 400 feet long and 200 feet wide. Zetzray and Raleth would climb aboard the ship and find the room in which they would be staying until thy reached their destination.

The second book that Zetzray had been reading up on was information about the Uchiha Clan. He had also gotten this bit of information from the library he had visited. The book held detailed explanations on the capabilities and the secrets of the Uchiha. This intrigued Zetzray and it was because of these two books that Zetzray was now determined to execute the journey to the land of the volcanoes and search for something.

Not too long after the two ninja got onto boat it sailed off in the direction of their destination.

As Zetzray spoke of the Uchiha clan Raleth was a bit curious. An odd question, a very odd one at that. But then again, recently Zetzray's request were becoming a bit odd. Asking for live people for some "special jutsu". Raleth never stayed to watch whatever he was doing, but he could always hear the screams of those he captured. And it seemed that whatever Zetzray was trying to do, always ended in some kind of hideous failure. However, Zetzray seemed to have found some information on how to perfect this jutsu, and the present trip was part of it. As the boat began to set sail Raleth spoke.

"The Uchiha...holders of the Sharingan, and proclaimed masters of Genjutsu. Quite skilled in katon jutsu, and even rumored to master the element Blaze. Yes I have heard of them, and have heard they were once populous and powerful, until a certain eagle clan did battle with them and nearly wiped them all out..."

Raleth looked at the green haired Edrick, one who hated his very name. And Raleth couldn't blame him. The current Shiokage, Dominic Edrick, is the head of the clan. And quite a manipulative man as well. His clan has monopolized the power and kage position, only his blood line able to be the heir to the kage's throne. A pompous ass no doubt, but Raleth and Zetzray needed to hide their true feelings. Doing battle with Dominic was sure to be suicide.

The boat began to churn as it sailed towards the Land of Blase, to the Volcano Village. It was the first day, and the sun began to set. As Raleth walked along the board, looking at the view of the sea, he spotted a fair and beautiful women on board. She was staring at Raleth, and upon noticing he was looking back she blushed and walked away. A smile washed over Raleth's face, one that seemed kind, but had evil intentions. Another piece of material...

Being satisfied with Raleth's answer Zetzray retreated to his room on the ship. He was there for hours, so long in fact that the time was able to pass from midnight to noon and back to midnight before he would emerge and take a look around the ship. Zetzray, during this time spent in his room. Spent that time reading through the book on the Uchiha and up until that point , he had only come across information that he knew to some degree, having battled an Uchiha before. It was when he would get to the last ten pages of the book that Zetzray would become confused. they were blank. He couldnt understand what was going on for a moment, but a few minutes of closely studying, feeling and meditating on what could be missing provided the answer for him. Zetzray had read a long time ago in a book, that certain books require a certain amount of chakra to be implanted into a book so that its words can be read. Zetzray figured that this being a secret arts book on a clan, that this had to be the case. So he closed his eyes and began to channel chakra from his hands to the book and sure enough, bright blue words began to show up on the pages.

There was a large group of words at the top that read out "Mangekyo Sharingan". Zetzray had no knowledge of what this was, but he knew that he had just hit the jackpot on information. he had discovered the pinnacle of the clan's power, their secret doujutsu technique. He read on and to his surprise he found out that what raleth had said was more than correct. the Uchiha had the ability to manipulate the inferno element, black flame ninjutsu. the flames were rumored to be un-extinguishable and the intensity of the heat was greater than that of normal ones. The first 4 pages were about the art of the black flames, or "Amaterasu" as it was commonly referred to as.

The next four pages were about a master genjutsu. A genjutsu that can apparently leave actual effects on the body and put the user of the genjutsu and their opponent into a world where the user is a god. Zetzray was beginning to wonder if anyone had ever actually awakened this power, or the Amaterasu... Zetzray was about to close the book when he saw the last two pages of the book were still blank. he tried to channel more chakra into it but it was no use. It would probably take someone with the mangekyo sharingan to read these pages.

Zetzray would exit his room at midnight and stare at the waters as the bloat moved through them gracefully. They were half way there at this point.

As Zetzray began to head into his room Raleth stayed on the top side of the ship, watching the waves churn and crash against the side of the ship. Raleth took off his mask and placed it on his shoulder, as he took in a deep breath of the ocean air. Memories of first arriving on Harikengakure filled Raleth's head, and soon flashbacks of training as a ninja their rushed in. Everything he did to become as strong as he was now, it would have almost brought a tear to his eyes. Almost. His mind then flash backed to his fight with Hayashi, and his words. Words that would change him forever...

His ears twitched as he heard footsteps coming near him, the wood very loud and annoying. Raleth turned around to see the same woman he saw before, walking to him, blushing a bit. Raleth smiled warmly to her, and she walked up to him, speaking softly, almost in a whisper, her voice sweet and pure.

"Are you Raleth, one of the Sannin of Harikengakure"

Raleth put his finger to her lips and shushed her, his expression a bit of panic. He looked around and whispered back to her.

"Please don't say that out loud! I don't want anyone knowing I'm traveling! I'm trying to keep a low profile"

The woman smiled and grasped Raleth's hands

"Fine! But you better come to my room and keep me company!"

Raleth sighed and followed her to her room.

As the night dragged on it was about 5 am the next day, the harbor of the land of heat could be seen. Raleth walked out of the woman's room, and did a bird call, one only Zetzray would be able to understand. He had found another sacrifice. Raleth then put back on his mask, and stayed at the front of the ship, watching the harbor become closer and closer. Their real reason for coming here would soon be revealed.

Zetzray spent the remainder of the trip in his room meditating. He was making sure that everything he and Raleth would need for this operation would be taken care of, and that it would flow smoothly. He drifted to sleep after 6 hours of meditation and was visited by a dream, one of him during one of the drakest times of his life.

He was walking down a hall in a factory that seemed to never end. And every 5 feet in the hall stood a giant cylindrical glass prison that held an abomination of some kind. Zetzray tried to walk while not looking left or right but he still couldn't bring himself to ignore these creations. Zetzray was now running, he wouldn't stop until he came to the end of this hell hall. It felt like it took an eternity but finally Zetzray made it to the end of the hallway and what stood waiting for him at the end was the body of the doctor that had made all of these creations. But it wasnt the doctors face that Zetzray saw, it was his own.

Zetzray woke up and looked left and then right, he was sweating and this dream had shaken him up quite a bit. he wanted to get off of the boat and he wanted to now. luckily for him the boat was now docking and he and raleth would be able to exit it and continue on with the plan. Zetzray emerged from his room and walked by Raleth. "Lets go.." Zetzray was wearing his ANBU mask and he had his eagle eye compass activated and would walk down the long flight of stairs that would lead from the boat to the rocky surface of the volcano land.

Zetzray looked left and then right, Volcanoes decorated the landscape and the temperature was extremely high. But two things were for certain. they were in the right place, and locating what they need would prove to be fairly simple.

Raleth's ears twitched as he heard foot steps behind him, and soon Zetzray was next to him. He nodded and as the boat docked they both walked off the ship, towards the blazing heat of the land. Raleth spoke to Zetzray

"Welcome to my old home Zetzray, the Land of Blazes. Quite a desolate and pitiful country eh?"

Raleth's tan skin was once a common site in this harsh land, the blazing heat and harsh sun would tan most villagers almost brown. It was a very common sight, and in fact was predominant trait. But when the present Shiokage attacked, and destroyed the once bountiful island, the pale people populated the land. An old prejudice surged into Raleth, one bred from a wealthy family. As these pale people walked past him disgust could be seen on Raleth's face, and he spoke racial slurs under his breath. Though normally not like this, being in his homeland and the memories of anger and pain brought up the worst in Raleth. He just hoped they could leave quickly. As they walked they neared the entrance, and saw a hug towering volcano ushering huge plumes of ash, and soon the thick smell reach Raleth's nostrils, which almost made him gag. He sighed.

"Seems we're here..."

Raleth took off his mask, and his tan skin contrasted sharply with the villagers. When his tan skin was shown the villagers all seemed to jump back, and some began to stare. A mutual feeling of racism could be felt, and he turned to zetzray.

"Let's hurry up and finish this shit. I'm already fed up with this place and we just got here"

Raleth was fighting a massive urge not to try and destroy this village.
