Hayoa Uchiha: Etai, is to optimistic, even for his own good.~

The true shinobi of Harikengakure, Etai is always there to serve his village. He is one with his country, and will gladly risk his life, just because of the SHiokages orders. His deep respect and obsession with the Hurricanes Leader is a bit unhealthy, but he sees it as a sign of true strength, and he finds it as daring as anything else. He never considers himself off duty as a Shinobi, due to the fact that his young age blinds him of other aspects of what he wants. He is easily persuaded, unless it goes against anything Dominic has ever said to him, which he creepily keeps in a notepad in his pocket.

Etai's personality is strange, at best. He goes through strange, bi-polar like phases of his personality. He can change from being completely elated, to ready to kill someone. His avid enjoyment of everything causes extreme discomfort to everyone around him. But the thing that he will go to the end of the earth for, he will kill anyone for, other than Dominic, is his stuffed Duck. He holds it dear to him for a reason. He has fuzzy visions that it held great meaning to him before.

Dominic Edrick: Insane, unpredictable, but no one bears the loyalty he does.~

If Etai were to be any animal, he would be a Golden Retriever. Their loaylty and slow wits drive true to Etais personality. He seldom knows what's going on, but when he does, he is right in the middle of it. He also tends to act slower than he is, on occasion. But his sense of duty never falters. The few friends Etai bears, know him as one of Harikengakures most trusted shinobi, and would put there lives in his hands for that. But, despite his many good traits, Etai is lacking somewhat in... finesse. He is a huge slob, with little to no manners. His poor physic is that of an 8 year olds.
Likes: Etai, being the developing child he is, Etai loves anything sweet and sugarry. But, because of his hyperactive nature, he is not allowed anywhere near sugar. He also loves anything soft and furry. The prize, though, is ducks. Etai has an unhealthy obsession with any kind of duck. Also with the Shiokage, Dominic Edrick.
Dislikes: Etai hates vegetables, healthy foods, and not being able to eat sugar. He has a deep passion for anything like that. He also dislikes big words, mean people, and anyone that bears a mustache. His dislike of moustaches doesn't originate from any particular place, but the fact that hair grows
Motivation: Etais motivation is to please the Shiokage and the village of Harikengakure. While his motivation isn't different than anyone else, Etai lacks the basic knowledge of actually feeling for it. His motivationis due to his unhealthy obsession with the Shiokage, and his unrest to please and serve him. His motives to please the village are from his distant childhood of not pleasing his parents, and though he doesn't remember much about them, he has an odd desire to please anyone around him, no matter the cost.
Fears:Etais fears are to die, the boogeyman, and displeasing the Shiokage and/or the village. His fear to die is an unspoken one that all children have. He feels he is to young, nad that anything can kill him, despite the fact that he carries around heaps of dangerous tools and weapons doesn't really affect him. The boogeyman is a given. Being 11, and being a JOunin of Harikengakure, it is natural for Etai to fear the Boogeyman. He embodies it as anyone that comes out of shadows or darkness.

Bloodline: Eagle Eye/Eagle Eye Compass
Bloodline Ability: There are 3 stages within the Eagle Clan bloodline, known as Golden Eye, Eagle Eye and Eagle Eye Compass.

Stage 1 Golden Eye: The eyes transform from a sky blue to a neon yellow. The Golden Eye is the most common of the clan, this version of the doujutsu achieved as a right of passage for those who become genin within the clan. It stimulates the body, allowing a 35% increase in speed/ reaction time. This allows the Edrick to go above and beyond their base speed, allowing their skills to flourish at a high level.

Stage 2 Eagle Eye: The eyes transform into yellow with a large black pupil. The Eagle Eye has the ability to target and lock onto a single opponent once blood is drawn from that opponent during battle. The vision of the Eagle Eye is similar to an Eagle itself. (Think of how far an Eagle can see.) Once locked on, the target and his/ her moves can be sensed instantly. This stage of doujutsu gives the user a 50% increase in speed/ reaction time, making them extremely dangerous on the battlefield. This eye is perfect for a one on one fight, and is perfect when it comes to fighting against an opponent possessing a Sharingan.

Stage 3 Eagle Eye Compass: The eyes transform into an all black eye, with a neon yellow compass in the center. The final stage of Doujutsu. The Eagle Eye Compass when activated, can sense anyone just by using the air flow around them. Anytime the Edrick stands perfectly still and someone moves within a 1/2 mile radius, disrupts the air flow, the eye picks it up. During battle it senses anything within a 20 ft. Span. This is due to the constant change in direction, which affects the Compass' range drastically. The compass within the eye acts just as so, able to send the signal to the brain of the user to which direction the natural wind flow was broken or changed. If the user manages to stay perfectly still while in battle, the range can open back up to the 1/2 mile radius. During this stage, the user recieves a 70% increase in speed/ reaction time, allow them incredible movements as well as ultimate precision with attacks. The Eagle Eye Compass, due to being linked to the brain, allows an Edrick to be able to distinguish whether they are within a Genjutsu. However the Eagle Eye Compass doesnt break them free. Great for battling both one on one and multiple opponents, this doujutsu is legendary in books, but almost forgotten by many, since it hasnt been seen in quite sometime.

Clan History: The fastest clan in the world, The Edrick Clan is a mostly forgotten clan of Harikengakure, but was the clan that actually founded the village in creation. Once called the Guardian's of the Sky, the Edrick Clan was said to live on the only mountain in the region, living peacefully for many years. Though they created the village, they werent actually a part of its population, due to their love of high altitude and desire to be the defenders of the village's peace. The Edrick Clan's Founder, Myria Edrick was responsible for this; her ideals of making a vast village to accomodate the vast number of people on the island country to live in peace with one another. This was the revolution that began what is known as the Village Hidden in the Hurricane.

The clan eventually became a big target, their legendaty doujutsu wanted by many outsiders from neighboring nations. An unexpected betrayal within the clan, led to their demise, thanks to an attack by ninja corps from an unknown nation at the time. With limited survivors and a fear for staying in the homeland, many of the scarce surviviors fled to other countries, leaving the once proud clan in dwindled numbers. Others who chose to stay in the homeland, sought refuge within the Hidden Hurricane, but lived sheltered lives. It wasnt until Dominic Edrick, that the clan became prominent once more. He now flourishes as the Shiokage.



History:
First, to know of Etais current state, and to understand him, you must know his past. He was born as an accident, such typically known as a normal accident. The story of how it happened, though, is not to be told. Etai was born, and, his parents not yet ready to actually be parents, raised him in a bad, unsophisticated manner. His father, a young, obnoxious, drunk that worked as an ANBU Village Protection member, wasn't very keen on taking care of the child. He never stopped to remember that this young Edrick was barely able to speak, and constantly beat him whenever he did a misdoing. His mother, also, wasn't very supportive. She was an intellectual person, and it was quite shocking to see the two polar opposites get married and have a kid. Because of this, Etai was a very struggled child. His mother would constantly forget to feed him or give him any affection, her job to overbearing for her to really even care. Because of this, Etai grew very skinny and weak, unhealthy for anyone his age. But his parents thought this was an unnatural cause, and it was a sign that Etai was evil. His parents beat him even more now, sending Etai into great periods of silence and isolation.

After many years, when Etai was 7, his parents disappeared. Etais young, persistent mind brought him to conclude that they just went shopping. He stayed quiet, than, waiting for his parents, sitting in his house, right in front of the door. He waited, not moving except to go to the bathroom or eat what little food would be in the house. His strange, underdeveloped mind would be more loyal than all, and he would sit around the main house entrance, waiting, for months on end. Until finally, they came back. Etai grinned as they would walk in, with an unknown guest. They introduced him as Etais older brother. His older brother, a tall, lean man, who appeared about 16, did not approve of Etais bodily health. While alone, His brother asked Etai how they used to treat him. Etai happily described how they beat him, but no ill will was found in his eyes. He didn't think an evil thought of his parent,s his kindness and loyalty to them immense.

His brother, though, did not approve. He told the Shiokage, Dominic Edrick about them, and Dominic odered they be imprisoned. He was decent enough to give his parents 48 hours to pack their belongings. After the 48 hours, the Shiokage came to pick them up, but he found them beating Etai for squealing on them instead. Dominic pushed them aside, sending them straight to the slammer, and brought the crying boy to his office, where he tried to get any information out of him nicely, but to no avail. The boy would spend weeks, just sitting in his house, waiting for something to happen. He wouldn't speak, he wouldn't eat, he wouldn't do anything. He was on the verge of dying of lack of food. Finally, Dominic ordered a pair of ANBU guards, one of which being Rohim Edrick, Etais uncle, to brainwash Etai, making him lose his memory. After that, the boy went insane trying to remember his past life, but revived himself.

After a year of staying in an asylum where it was safe, The Shiokage allowed Etai to enter the Shinobi Academy, where he quickly passed the final Exam and became a Genin. He disagreed with having a team, thinking that he would only slow them down, and did everything on his own. Etais lack of a conscience and any form of pain monitor helped him greatly in performing higher skill level tasks. He finally joined the Chuunin Exams, where he excelled in everything. He faced his opponents with no shame, no holding back. He defeated his opponent, and showed great speed and power, but he lacked strategy. But nonetheless, he became a Chuunin, and from there, quickly advanced to Special Jounin. as a Special Jounin, Etai was higher ranked than many in the villlage

Being the youngest Special Jounin in the village, Etai felt a sense of pride with his work. He performed missions quickly and efficiently(Mostly). He would than, after a year, be promoted to Jounin, his work far from done. With this, Etai hopes to become the first S-Ranked in in his village, being the only one level with the Shiokage in strength.

Etai landed a good distance away from the wedding with his wings. As Etai landed, his wings disappeared into the air, dematerializing like dust. He then walked towards the chairs, a happy grin on his face. Etai was dressed up more then he ever had in his life. He actually looked moderately handsome,to say the least, which was also a first for Etai. He rarely groomed himself, and when he did, it meant something special was happening. He looked around, giving a small sort of salute to Dominic, though not really expecting anything back.

As he went to the second row, he spotted Lacey Edrick. He gave a small nod to her, and sat behind her, a few seats down. He didn't expect anyone to try to mess with the the Umikage on his wedding day, but just in case, he had brought his knife and a few smoke bombs that were stashed in his pocket. Well, other than his shoulderplates, which were stashed underneath his jacket. He looked at the baby that the lady in front of him was holding. The child was already growing. He looked at the baby, wondering if he remembered him from not so long ago, that kid who almost killed himself repeatedly in the toy store. That was him.
