Not every member of the Kinzoku clan is able to access their famous Renkinjutsu, the way to tell if a clan member possesses the gift is a closely guarded secret of the royal family. The secret is present for clan security though the signs are simply there as a way to keep an eye on prospective young benders as the ability itself seems to mature in those lucky few around the ages of 12-16. Upon gaining matured powers a member of the clan gains several abilities, they are as follows;

  • Kinton (Metal Release): Members of the Kinzoku with the Renkinjutsu clan ability gives them access is an extremely rare and advanced chakra nature. Combining Raiton and Doton together to create Kinton, otherwise known as metal release or metal bending. This chakra nature is study and can create either strong offensive moves or some of the worlds strongest defenses. All members of the Kinzoku clan have silver colored chakra due to this and an aura of this is shown around them whenever they become enraged, this aura does nothing to benefit them and is all for show. In addition Kinzoku that have Kinton are able to perform 'feats of strength' they otherwise could not when dealing with metal, after reaching A rank they are able to simply twist and bend metal up to the grade of steel with their fingers. This is caused by the chakra nature aligning with the higher level chakra maturity of the user, this is not truly a showing of the person's strength though but rather a subconscious remodeling of the metal's atoms similar to the clan's signature bending jutsu but with the control limited to only changing the shape of the metal through direct contact as though it were clay. (this last bit is actual physical twisting and pulling with your hands unlike the jutsu where the user simply infuses chakra to move the metal on its own.)

  • Bodi no Yoroi (Body Armor): The iron in a clan member's blood hardens slightly and compresses itself with other minerals in the body to a state of literally becoming steel particles. These stronger particles nourish the body and toughen the fibers of the skin and muscle layers upon command. The added strength gained by this ability is determined by the chakra maturity (character rank) of the individual. Against taijutsu the user is able to block any single attack as though it were nothing more than a breeze hitting them, the limits to this is the user can only block taijutsu up to their respective rank (max able to block at any rank is A meaning this can never stop an S rank taijutsu). Against weaponry the durability of the item is taken into account, mattering not if it is a blunt weapon like a staff or a sharp weapon like a katana. At D rank the Kinzoku can block up to iron strength items. At C rank they can block up to reinforced iron. Upon reaching B rank this increases to steel. Increasing further at A rank the Kinzoku can then block reinforced steel. Finally, at S rank the clan member is able to block a single strike from any weapon of titanium strength. In cases where weapons are used for abilities or jutsu anything that involves enhancing the power or direct hit effects are still negated. However, things such as a blade releasing a power that launches the Kinzoku away from the user still take effect, they simply recieve no damage from the weapon itself. As stated before, all uses of this 'armor' last for a single strike and no more. In addition this ability can only be activated once every eight rounds. A Kinzoku can not use both the body armor and the ability granted from Kinton that allows them to physically bend metal (the no chakra, direct contact, variant) this is to make things fair when it comes to destroying another person's weapons without having to use any chakra.

  • Hiraishin (Lightning Rod): The final ability of the Renkinjutsu is only granted to those of the clan that make it to at least Jonin level, allowing them to take a direct bolt of lightning without any repercussions, the norm of being struck being severe burning. In addition to this S rank Kinzoku gain an immunity to D rank Raiton due to the strengthened metal within their bodies redirecting the damage of the techniques and absorbing the voltage, effectively nullifying the technique all together. This ability has a cool down like body armor, after being hit with a technique it takes two rounds to fully neutralize the chakra which results in any raiton that would normally be negated to cause damage like normal.

Name: Kinzoku no kumiawase

Description: Passive; This technique allows members of the Kinzoku clan to take different pieces of metal and, after breaking them down into the molecular level, combine them into a single or multiple pieces. This can only be done in the idea of equivalent exchange so it a person has two cubic feet of steel in one piece and three cubic feet of metal in another they would only be able to make a piece which is at most five cubic in volume.

Description: Requires hand signs; After completing the needed seals the user’s entire body is encased in thin raiton chakra which grants the ability to coat metal being touched to be coated in electricity as well as electrifying their entire being. At this stage a person who touches a weapon coated with this technique or the skin of a clan member with this activated will be given slight shocks which completely numb the area that made contact for two rounds.

Description: Charge equal to hand seals; the user manipulates the iron in the blood in addition to the other numerous metal nutrients found throughout their body and focuses their chakra into them to draw it towards the middle finger of their dominant hand, after this has been perform (after the round of charging for a D rank technique) the substances grow from the finger and harden into an iron sword one and a half times as long as their arm itself. The sword is treated as an iron weapon that has the durability to cut other iron and match steel while stronger substances destroy it. in addition the Kinzoku bloodline is unable to bend this metal making it a deadly weapon against them. This weapon, if destroyed or hacked off, does not cause the user to lose the finger but if it is indeed removed the sword disappears and the finger is broken. Lasts for four rounds max with a 5 round cool down.

Name: Kaminari tenohira (Lightning Palm)

Description: Charge equal to hand seals; the user manipulates the raiton in their body and focuses it into the palm of each of their hands. This results in their hand being coated in an electrical aura which glows yellow like a light bulb and gives off a buzzing sound. This aura remains for three rounds and has the ability to fire projectiles the size of the user's clenched fist that travel at 10 mph for 25 feet maximum. Whatever these projectiles hit get second degree burns on the contacted area. Each hand can only fire off one projectile each per round, meaning there is a possible maximum of six projectiles per use before it ends. 6 round cool down.

Description: Requires hand signs; After completing the series of seals the user holds out their hand and forms ten small orbs of solid steel which rotate around their wrist. Description: Requires Hand Seals; The user clasps their hands together and concentrates on all the metallic substances in the area as well as their own chakra and collect it all into an orb above them. This orb spreads out to cover a large area, with size depending on the amount of material gathered, and begins to heavily rain down on the area below in the form of solid steel senbon. The area can be condensed into a small section for heavier rain. This technique is able to at maximum rain down for three rounds unless there is another clan member standing there feeding the cloud.

Description: Similar to shadow clones in many aspects the Hagane no kurōn or Steel Clones function with almost all of the same properties. They can be created out of metal nature chakra from members of the Kinzoku clan of at least A rank and above while anyone else will require some form of metal to be around and instead of creating the clone just shaping it into a mirror image of themselves with the ability to act freely. These clones as stated before are similar to kage bunshin except that as they are crafted out of metal chakra. For a clone to be destroyed there needs to be a certain number of taijutsu attacks landed on it, the system for that is as follows; Genin, 4 hits, chuunin, 3, s. Jounin and jounin 2, s rank 1 hit assuming they are direct and powerful strikes. So then since a clone has to be an even distribution of chakra to create, it won't have a full amount of chakra. Therefore it would only be able to perform a certain rank jutsu before being destroyed. I say it can create one A rank jutsu before being destroyed on its own. B rank two before self destruct. C & D rank 3. In addition the clone can use any raiton, steel or neutral element techniques the user themselves could. Max clanes created in one use is one.

Name: Kinzoku no kage shōseki (金属の影証跡 - Metal Shadow Trail)

Description: Passive; The Kinzoku no kage shōseki is a hidden art held only by those who are high ranking in the metal crafting clan and is such a close guarded secret that not even many clansmen that don't partake of it's practice know of it through anything but myth. The Kinzoku no kage shōseki is one of the true final levels of a metal crafter's ability, that being the ability to merge themselves into large sheets of metal and move around inside it. This is a highly stressful thing to do and can only be performed in intervals of three rounds at a time, after they have made their exit they will have to rest their bodies for four rounds outside in the physical realm. When a Kinzoku master enters sheet metal they seem to shrink down to a microscopic level to others and remain unseen while from their point of view they are in an alternate dimension where they are free to walk around and move in a black and white world (known as the steel world) that is separated from the real world by a thin hazy barrier of dark gray that shows the other side to them. While able to reach out with their arms and things of that nature they cannot release any non metal technique from the inside nor can they completely exit the steel world or else the technique is ended early. The user is able to take anything they desire into the steel world but if the technique ends and it was left behind it can never be recovered. This technique is only usable three times in a topic and if attempted more than that the user will be trapped in the stel world eternally without hope of escape. When someone is trapped in the steel world they are shown in on the surface of the metal and allowed to see into the real world like normal, however no matter how hard they slam against the barrier or scream they cannot make a noise of affect the metal, in addition you never age or die in the steel world but you do suffer from the normal aliments like hunger and thirst, the only way to end your life is if someone destroys the piece completely. While in the steel world the user can travel anywhere in the sheet of metal they are in as well as any sheet that is in direct contact with that sheet, they can not however use their clan abilities to connect pieces after entering nor can they partially exit and connect pieces without ending the technique early and losing whatever pieces of their body is still on the other side to the steel world forever. This technique requires at least special jonin rank to be used.

Name: Fumetsu no kyubu no keimusho

Description: One round charge up rather than hand seals; Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object, this object must be something like a log or stone roughly the same size as the user. The size doesn't have to be exactly the same as the user but what this means is a person can't replace themselves with a leaf or a twig, nor could they replace themselves with a giant boulder, if questions arise over uses of this technique contact an admin but any decision they make is final. In addition this can not be another person unless that person is willing. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. These objects or other people must be within 50 feet of the user when the technique is performed. There is a 5 round cool down between uses of this technique and it can only be used a maximum of 3 times per topic.

Description: Passive; First and foremost of Seismic Sense's applications is the ability to perceive surroundings. By sensing vibrations in the nearby metal, Kinzoku can perceive their surroundings as precisely as normal sight, within 100 feet. Practitioners can use the sense to detect things out of their line of sight, even right behind them. Obstacles that would normally obstruct regular vision, such as walls and thick dust clouds, are ineffective against Seismic Sense, and caverns and other cavities deep underground can also be detected by an acute Seismic Sense. Even metal that is not on the ground can be detected. Another ability enabled by Seismic Sense is lie detection. The sense allows Kinzoku to sense the interiors of humans through the iron in their blood, and any changes in their status. Since humans have a physical reaction when they lie, kinzoku who use Seismic Sense can tell when one happens. In order to do lie detection they must be within 10 feet. Description: After hand seals have been completed the user places his palms together and slowly pulls them apart to condense raw lightning chakra into the form of a swallow, this bird is the size of an average swallow bird. The bird moves between 30-40 mph. After it's creation the bird acts freely and can fly as a normal bird of this kind with only one addition. The bird, when it flies into something, can create an electric shock that leaves a second degree electrical burn. The bird lasts either 3 turns or until it rams into something.

Description: This jutsu requires one handseal. This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. Description: Passive; The user closes their eyes and pulses wind from their body into the wind, this pulse goes out to a maximum of one hundred feet and then bounces back to the user. When the pulse returns the user has a mental picture of what was picked up on the sonar. This technique continues pulsating constantly so the image is updated every two seconds, one second going out and another second coming back, as to gain an accurate picture of what is going on around them in the air. This technique is able to last for up to a maximum of ten posts but is cancelled early if they open their eyes. If a blind person uses this technique they do not need to close their eyes.

Description: The user charges chakra into their jaw for the same amount of time they would normally perform seals for a D rank jutsu. After the charging is complete the chakra morphs the mouth in shape, enlarging the teeth to twice their normal size as well as sharpening them into razor like blades that can shred flesh and crack bone. In addition the chakra affects the jaw by allowing the user to detach the jaw (expands a maximum of 12 inches) at will as well as the ability to lock it into place. This lock jaw effect can be broken away from by a person bitten if that person uses up 10 chakra to charge it into the wound which forces the user to let go. This lasts for five rounds with a six round cool down.

Description: Hand seals; the user completes their hand seals and stomps the ground with their foot to creates two circular slabs of stone, each a foot and a half across and three inches thick. With a powerful kick or punch the user sends the slabs flying straight in the direction of their choosing at thirty miles per hour, after about one hundred and fifty feet the slabs lose speed and fall back to the ground and crumble into dirt. Both slabs must be launched on their own and the maximum height they can be is anywhere from just above the ground to level with the user's chest and shoulders. Whenever these slabs hit something it is like getting hit with a stone disc, at these speeds a direct hit can fracture bones but due to the nature of the technique they then revert back into dirt, this means they can not fully break a bone with the exception of fingers. Four round cool down.

Description:  Charge time equal to hand seals. After charging is complete the user chews the chakra in their mouth and spits it out so that it turns into mud and hardens into a perfect replica of themselves without color. The statue is as strong as an old clay pot and as such is very easy to break. This technique stays around until destroyed, and is used more as a distraction than anything else as it is unable to move itself nor can it be controlled by the creator. 3 round cool down.

Description: Hand seals depend on rank of healing used. This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state. The use of this technique can help bring back people from any injury with a certain amount of chakra as described below.

In order to obtain the effect of the comatose on an affected person at least two ranks higher than the needed chakra must be inserted into the body. The effects of the comatose is simple a knock out that lasts for three rounds.

Description: Note; in order to perform this technique the user is required to have the following items on their person. Gundan Scroll and three weapons; in addition two out of the three weapons must be sealed into the Gundan Scroll. Rather than seals the user charges chakra for a number of rounds equivalent to a D rank jutsu into the sword they are currently holding and then they can begin the technique at will. Takeshi will swing the blade in his hand to make a normal everyday attack, he will then on the way back after the strike use a form of substitution so that the blade trades places with the one inside the scroll. He then makes another strike with the blade he just pulled out and then does the same thing but instead of switching it with the other blade again switches places with the final one. Takeshi does one final strike with his final weapon before the technique ends. 4 round cool down.

Taking the blood on their arm's the user rips out all of the iron molecules in it and forms them into the shape of a wolf head around their hand that is three times the overall size of the closed fist. This can open and shut the jaw without using chakra at a rate of 30 mph and can also be shot from the wrist at a rate of 50 mph. Once detached from the arm it can snap open and shut once before dissolving into blood again. If not shot from the wrist the wolf head had three rounds of action before it dissolves naturally. This is broken by C rank fire/wind/water/earth and B rank lightning. 4 round cool down.

The hound is able to run around at the user's command for the length of it's leash (50 feet) at a max speed of 30 mph, when it hits something it can either explode and cause second degree electrical burns to everything within five feet of it, or try to maul them with it's claws and fangs which paralyze for a round on contact and can cut through iron. The maximum number of rounds this hound can remain is three, after that it automatically explodes and then dissipates. 5 round cool down.

Description: Rather than hand seals the user charges chakra throughout their body for the same time they normally would in order to perform a C rank jutsu. The user summons two large snakes which crawl out from one's sleeves, and coil around the enemy capturing them. This is a great technique for capturing someone alive, or for inflicting damage by constriction, and if the situation calls for it, the snakes can bite the victim with their fangs. These serpents can only do things one at a time in term of rounds as such, on the first round they bind the target and immobolize them (nothing else can be done the first round meaning for Jounin/Special Jounin this is all that happens). On the second round however they have the option of either constricting around the opponent hard enough that pressure on the blood vessels slows and causes a round of extreme numbness throughout the target's body the round after they are released or to bite down with their fangs which can shred skin and muscle to a maximum of three inches while not being able to fracture the bones beneath. With the summons specified beforehand, the procedure can be shortened by using blood on their palms, so long as they are a summoner of some form of serpent on an official contract and have the kanji for serpent tattooed onto each of their palms, making it possible to use the technique immediately (This can only be done once per topic). Snakes summoned by this technique are on a whole other level in terms of intelligence and strength, compared to normal summons. They are able to hold shinobi for a number of rounds based on their rank. SS/S rank, zero. A rank, 1. B rank, 1. C rank, 2. D rank, 2. After the snakes have held their victim as long as possible they disappear back into the user's sleeves and can not be summoned again for five rounds.

Description: Rather than hand seals the user charges chakra throughout their body for the same time they normally would in order to perform a C rank jutsu. This technique allows the user to eject a maximum of three brown snakes from their wrist or sleeve at a speed of 45 mph, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place to be dragged back to the user the next round when they themselves retract back into his sleeves. The snakes can also open their mouths to extend Kusanagi-like blades. These blades are razor sharp, able to slice through flesh and fracture bones. These blades are about six inches in length. The target is not pulled back to the user if the blades are used to strike. This technique can also produce snakes from different parts of the user's body such as the mouth. Snakes retract back to where they came from and are un-summoned after a full round and cant be summoned again for a total of three rounds.

The user turns the lower half of their body into a serpent's tail, which greatly increases his speed and agility by 2x. Any clothing or weapons on the lower half of the body is absorbed into the tail and reappears after the technique ends. This form can be used to coil around the opponent and squeeze them to the point that bones can be broken. The tail will be as long as the user's full body, this makes it so in this form their body length is 150% normal. For example someone 6 foot even would have a 6 foot long tail in addition to three feet of upper body for an overall length of 9 feet. To crush someone you would need to spend a full round constricting around your opponent. In this form lightning jutsu used against you are treated as one rank higher. Lasts three rounds with a four round cool down.

Assuming you have the strength to do so naturally you can snap bones that you constrict for a full round. Lasts three rounds with a five round cool down.

Description: Requires a number of rounds charging chakra through the user's body equal to the number of rounds that would otherwise be used to perform hand seals. After charging is complete the user will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon's head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex, if trapped within this vortex your entire body is covered in deep lacerations (about three inches) and second degree burns. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with the foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a target within ten feet of the dragon itself to cause first degree burns. The fully extended dragon is one hundred feet long and fifteen feet across (diameter). If it runs into another material it will be stopped unless that material is only as hard as steel or lower, which in that case the dragon can destroy and pass through to continue towards its target. The dragon lasts for a total of three rounds, meaning the user can continue to spin and thus control the dragon's movements for that long though they can not perform any other action nor can they begin charging chakra for anything else. The dragon moves at a speed of 45 mph. The dragon, however, will go away and the jutsu will end after if hits a target; meaning when it hits a person the damage is done and the dragon goes away regardless of if it has been 3 rounds yet or not. When used with the kiba swords the additional 5 chakra to use the technique need not be paid as this technique is one that originally was made from those weapons and was later adapted for use without them. As is the ability of the weapon use of the blades increases the rank of the jutsu by one and raises damage from it accordingly, raising direct damage from the dragon to 5 inch lacerations and third degree burns and in-direct damage (the stray bolts bouncing off it within 10 feet) to second degree.

Description: No Seals; The user places their hands on the ground and creates a golden symbol on the ground that stretches out ten feet in every direction from the center, the user is about a foot away from the center when they cast it. From this symbol rises a golden orb with a rainbow of metallic colors running through it's center, this orb is known as the sacred forge in myths and folk tales through the heat country. At this point the caster is able to take a weapon or item that has no previous abilities that were not granted by this jutsu and slide it into the orb and place a jutsu within their list into the very molecules of the item, the orb acts as a void of space so when something is placed inside it it seems to disappear into another realm. Placing a jutsu inside a weapon takes two rounds and while doing this the caster is unable to move from his spot with his hands and the weapon/item inside the orb so this while possible to be used in battle is not recommended unless you have someone else to cover you. After a jutsu has been placed inside a weapon it doesnt cost chakra to perform but it is limited to a certain number of uses per topic as described further on.

To place a jutsu inside a weapon the user must release the chakra that they would normally have used to cast it, this chakra is taken straight from their personal chakra pool once again as if it had just been used. The chakra binds itself to the weapon/item's atoms and becomes one with them for eternity. IN addition ONE other person can place their hands inside the orb per use of the jutsu and add their own jutsu into the item as well at the cost of the chakra for the jutsu from their personal pool of chakra. After the jutsu is over the weapon is forever able to cast that jutsu a certain number of times per topic based on it's rank as well as how many times per topic it can be used as shown below:

The Sacred Forge

This is here for technical reasons even though it is implied. After a weapon has had a jutsu placed inside it it is to be registered so it can be officially priced and approved. The base weapon would not be included in the price so long as the forger had provided that material before hand IC as something they purchased in the OOC weapon shops. (meaning if someone purchased two blocks of steel and made a katana from it then sealed jutsu inside it would not need to be added into the new price after a jutsu is placed in it since they already own the item IC.) However at that point is it the responsibility of the member to provide the proper information for the staff member to price it this includes the following;

  • The FULL description of the jutsu(s) placed inside the weapon and/or item
  • The proper price at which that technique was approved, if the jutsu does not have an offical price due to special circumstances then this information is to be provided so the staff member can price that technique
  • The multiplier for that level of jutsu as is listed above in this technique in the table
  • The member IS allowed to do the math themselves if they so choose however the staff is advised to double check this just a precaution, I doubt anyone will be dishonest but we all forget to carry the one every now and then.


NOTE: If jutsu have a basic limitation of usage within their own descriptions then they must be followed. For example body flicker is a once per topic technique thus the max times it could be sealed into a weapon is ONE regardless of it's rank limitations of this jutsu.

The user takes all the chakra they built up and form it into a disc of energy three feet across, they then release the disc to fly straight forward in a fast paced bee line. The disc moves at a speed of 50 mph, when it hits something it is like being hit by a small car going the same speed. The disc has the power to slice through iron and lower grade materials while being able to dent steel on impact, this means it can slice through a human body like butter. This technique has a cool down of seven posts.

Description: Rather than hand seals the user charges chakra into their arms by rotating them in a circle for as long as they would normally charge a B rank jutsu. After charging the user's fist has a rapidly spinning funnel of wind that extends from down near the user's elbow to right around their knuckles are. This mini tornado is the offensive part of the technique, if it comes into contact with someone's exposed skin it has the level of power to cause lacerations one to two inches deep depending on how close the target gets. The main ability of this technique is pushing the opponent back from you, this is accomplished by doing a normal punch or just almost landing a strike. When the user gets within six inches of their intended target they can choose to release the tornado, the effect being that whatever was in front of that tornado in a 100 degree angles is blown backwards fifty feet along with receiving one inch deep cuts. Things bolted to the ground or that have deep roots (like trees and bushes) are not moved and things over 300 pounds are unaffected by the push back but still receive the lacerations unless they are tougher than iron. This technique has a variation called the double tornado fist, as the name suggests it creates two cyclones (one on each wrist), this can only be done if both arms are charged up at the start, doing this costs and additional 20 chakra. The cyclones can last up to three posts before fading away or being stopped early by it being released. 7 post cool down.

Description: no hand seals, Tenkan kaminari is a sub-technique within Lightning Release, allowing a Lightning user to absorb lightning chakra into their body as energy, then release the lightning in a more desirable direction. The user lets the energy in his or her own body's Tenketsu Points flow, creating a current. Naturally, the lightning will follow it. The user must create a pathway of chakra, from the index and middle fingertips of their non-dominant hand, from where the Raiton chakra is absorbed, up their arm to the shoulder, then down into the stomach. The stomach is the source of energy within the human body, where all the Tenketsu Points meet to form a 'sea of Chakra'. From the stomach, the user directs it up again and out the other arm. The stomach detour is critical, the user must not let the lightning pass through his or her heart, or the damage could be fatal. This technique can be used to absorb any lightning technique (apart from melee attacks such as the Chidori) and redirect them in a position to the choosing of the user, preferably back at the opponent. The use of this technique requires maximum control over the lightning element thus it can only be learned by Jounin and higher ranked shinobi. This is usable only twice per topic in order to keep the user's internal electrical currents from overloading, it can be used a third time however but this would result in death. There is a three post cool down between uses.

Description: Minimum Chunin to use. The user channels an extreme amount of raiton natured chakra into their palm, so much in fact that it takes on physical form and "erupts" from the hand into what appears to be a scaled down version of a lightning storm.The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. When the technique is activated the user has two chances to hit their opponent, one in the post it is activated and one the round directly after, however if you miss the first time and have to use your second shot the power is considerably lower. If you land a hit the first time the Chidori dissipates and the second shot is unusable.

To actually begin the technique itself there are two ways, which way you use depends on your power level (rank). Chunin and Special Jounin spend the first round performing hand seals and then spend the rest of the time they need to use an A rank jutsu charging raiton style chakra into their palm. For Jounin, S ranks and SS ranks the hand seals are able to be skipped due to their higher understanding of chakra control, they are only required to charge raiton chakra into their palm for the same time it takes them to use an A rank jutsu.

First Strike
After the activation of the technique the user charges forward and thrusts the technique into their opponent, the slicing power of the Chidori is enough to cut trough any material with ease. When the technique hits the opponent the shock is enough to light up their insides with third degrees burns, rupturing organs and frying muscle and nerve tissue. This level of damage will normally kill someone within one to two posts. Due to the power level of the first strike the user is able to, and normally will, send their hand straight through their opponent's body to leave the lightning behind in the "sealed abdomen". When this happens the user is required to remove their hand from the opponent's body in their following post.

Second Strike
Exactly like the first strike the user charges towards their intended target and thrusts their hand into the target. The second strike is made possible however by using the energy that would have caused the condensed lightning storm inside to rupture organs and burn the insides, thus this effect can not be achieved on the second chance. In addition due to the losing of power the user is unable to send their hand all the way through an opponent, they are only able to make an attack deep enough to go halfway through the chest cavity. In addition since the mini storm isn't there only the reduced version of the cutting power is left, so the insides can't be lit up. This results in only the area actually hot by the hand being damaged.

This technique has a major drawback, however. The chakra drain and stress on the body make it so this technique is only able to be used once per week. However if someone is doing a large amount of in character battle they are able to recharge it through sheer will, for every three IC battles you are a part of in the cool down of the original use you are able to use Chidori once more, it can be recharged a maximum of three times in a week, an attempted start of a fourth will cause the user's body to completely shut down and kill them.

Description: Rather than hand seals the user charges chakra into their index finger the same amount of time it takes them for seals of a jutsu (number of rounds determined by what rank of power is being used). After chakra has been charged the user makes their hand fold into a gun shape with the thumb up, the index pointing out and the rest curled toward the palm. What follows is the blast of blue and white chakra which has a varying level of power and distance depending on how much chakra was charged for the attack, the following is a table detailing these levels. note: all levels of spirit gun take one half of a second after being fired to extend to their respective full lengths. All levels of the spirit gun are able to bounce off of mirrors, this means actual mirrors not just any shiny/reflective surface (such as water). If the user uses the A rank version of this technique at least one time then they no longer are able to use the S rank level of Spirit Gun for the remainder of that topic. In addition, using the S rank version of the technique at all in a topic result in no other level of the gun (the exception being the E rank) can be used for the remainder of that topic.

E - At the lowest level of power the spirit gun has just about as much power as a water gun would, used more for tripping people with a tiny amount of force. This level will be almost completely useless in a serious combat setting but can be great for playing jokes. This rank is only six inches wide with a range of 20 feet. No cool down

D - A step up from the previous rank, this level of power is the first that can actually cause direct damage. A D rank spirit gun can cause a first degree burn like a bad sun burn on contact. The D rank gun is about one foot across and can shoot fifty feet from finger tip. One round cool down

C - At the C rank level the spirit gun gains more girth and length, becoming two feet across and eighty feet in length. This level of spirit gun causes second degree burns on contact. Two round cool down

B - At B rank the spirit gun once again increases in it size and damage aspects. At this level of power the gun causes severe third degree burns to any surface that it makes contact with. The size increase makes it one hundred feet long and four feet across. Three round cool down

A - At A rank the gun goes into a whole new level of power, increasing to a size of eight feet across and one hundred and fifty feet long. With this level of chakra input the gun is able to punch through reinforced steel with ease and completely melt iron. Seven round cool down, twice per topic

S - At it's final and most powerful level the gun is two hundred feet long and twenty feet across. When it reaches this level of power the spirit gun can melt titanium grade material it comes into contact with and puncture all grades of material other than diamond (while not being able to destroy diamond, direct contact ith a S rank spirit gun will super heat it). Description: Rather than hand seals the user charges chakra throughout their body for the same time they normally would in order to perform a S rank jutsu plus one additional round (B ranks 4 rounds rather than 3, so on and so forth). The user is allowed to move while they charge the chakra except for the final round, this last round of charging requires them to be still since it is when the new body is starting to pull out from the old. This is normally used after sustaining massive injury, or simply to escape from a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to regurgitate a new body from their mouth, new clothes, complete with any lost limb being regenerated and all wounds healed, much like a snake sheds its skin. The only thing unable to be recovered through this technique is the heart. This technique requires twice the amount of chakra than other S rank jutsu (100). Two week cool down.

Description: The user charges chakra into their palm for the same amount of time they would normally perform seals for a S rank jutsu in place of doing hand seals. After charging is completed the user places their hand on the victim's forehead and the affected person's body goes limp for the remaining duration of this technique, in addition the user can't removed their hand from the forehead or the technique ends early. In addition the user can not use any force against the victim during this technique, meaning they can't use other techniques weapons or even their fists to strike them or the jutsu is ended early.

When the victim's body goes limp their brain kicks into overdrive, showing them a reel of images known only as "Chapter Black". Chapter Black is like a rapid paced slide show of all kinds of human cruelty. Things like brutal war where men are tearing flesh from each other's bodies with their bare hands, children being forced to watch their mother being raped while helpless to stop it and every other kind of unimaginable dark lust of mankind. This "video" is the thing of legend and is known to be a last resort measure or torture and interrogation developed by the first warlord, Sensō Kinzoku. As such the fear surrounding this technique has made it something of a ghost story that scares people just at the thought of being forced to watch it play through all across the globe.

When the technique starts the visions are of murder and other gruesome but normally semi-tolerated crimes. If the user removes their hand after one round then the mental damage is minor, sending the victim into shock which makes them scared for the rest of the topic and unable to stop thinking about what they saw so they move at half speed.

By the time the second round of being held comes around the visions become crimes that many people don't think would ever be committed, everything from sexual taboos to dissection of humans and cannibalism. If after two rounds the user removes their hand then the victim's mental damage is moderately high, enough to be considered mental disease on short term. They still see flashes of these visions in the back of their mind even after the jutsu ends for the rest of the topic and the topic after. Their speed is halved for the rest of the topic.

If the user does not release their hand by the time it has been there three rounds then the effects of this visions are at full power. The victim sees things that a human mind is unable to comprehend, they lose their faith in humankind and go completely insane by being shown just how low a human is able to go. They drop to the ground for two posts foaming at the mouth and gurgling hysterically, the visions are all they can see during these two posts as they permanently implant themselves on the victim's mental eye. The insanity effect is permanent, it doesn't make them unable to move or function but their mentality is shattered. The visions return every time the victim is near the user (even after the topic it was used in ends), this causes the speed drop from fear caused at the lower level damages of this technique but it will not make them pass out again unless for some reason they have it used on them again.

This jutsu, even though a genjutsu, is not able to be broken by Genjutsu Kai as it's sheer power is to immense. This can only be broken by primary genjutsu users, this is done by expending an extremely large amount of chakra into one's brain, the exact number of chakra is 100 points. The victim must charge this chakra for one round after they are trapped (meaning they are able to end it before they enter stage two) for it to surge up enough to counter the jutsu. Personality: When he first came into contact with humans this serpent was still within his egg just barely with his eyes formed and able to peer through his thin shell out into a warped version of the world. These humans however did not leave a lasting good impression on him though as they had come with the intent to hunt down his kind, the world was still young and the world serpents were a savage species that legends described as brutal beasts which would sink ships and devour entire villages without a hint or remorse for their wrong doing. He was lucky however, him along with three eggs were taken back to the young village of Arashigakure before even the creation of the first metal bender. He would remain here looking out into the world with contempt, world serpents do not have a set time to hatch but rather choose when the time is right. His brothers and sisters that were brought back were not smart with their timing and over the centuries were wiped out as they grew to become violent and rose against those who raised them. One day however a young boy no older than three years of age wandered into the treasure room where his egg was being kept and although he couldn't explain it he began to hatch not but a moment after the child grasped the white orb in his hands. At first the presence of the serpent was unwelcome as it had been over two hundred years since the last hatching but keeping with tradition the boy would be tasked with raising the beast and becoming it's training partner, should he fail he would be killed. Unlike any other human this boy seemed to bring a calmness to the blackened heart of the ancient serpent and as they grew together he began to understand that it was the pure intentions of the child's heart which had brought them together and made it so that this human alone was the only one he would trust. This human was Takeshi Kinzoku and would go on to become kage of his nation, this fact makes the old serpent proud and although he only trusts the silver haired shinobi who hatched him he has come to tolerate others that Takeshi wishes him to.

Description: Jörmungandr has the passive ability to change his shape at any time without the need to use chakra, this is considered a trait of his race and is how they went into hiding before they were wiped out with the exception of his egg. His size manipluation can range anywhere from the size Takeshi originally found the baby serpent as (roughly a half foot or 6 inches) to his maximum size he is able to reach as a fully grown adult (the circumference of Arashigakure). The limitation of this technique is that he is only able to activate a size change once per round, meaning no shirking down to hide then a sudden change into being a giant all in one post.

This chemical combination result in his scales being as hard as diamond. This is considered a passive skill that doesn't drain chakra since it is just his body's chemical make-up.

Description: The internal lightning festival is the last resort for the world serpent race, by using their strong lightning chakra reserves they can create an amazing showing of lightning that strikes every part of their insides. This lightning is one of the most powerful forms that raw chakra can be developed into and thus is much more potent that natural lightning with enough electrical power to turn alien material within it to ash. Alien material is anything that is not a natural part of the world serpent's body like its internal lining and organs. However this technique does cause enough damage to the serpent that using it more than twice in a topic would cause severe electrical overload and put it into immediate cardiac arrest that will no doubt result in death as no level of Ijutsu could treat the entire body in time. There is a one post charge up for this technique to be used and a ten post cool down between the two possible uses.
