Personality:
From the safety of this tower Takeshi overlooks his village with watchful eyes, the gaze of the shepherd watching over his precious flock with the utmost are to details. A father figure to many while a merciless killer to others with all sorts of views in between, a reputation of emotional decisions has created mixed feelings about him throughout even his own home though for the most part most people feel they can trust him with even their very lives after seeing him in action on the defensive.

While him defending sparks trust and impresses his people they have learned to fear him when the man has gone on the offensive side of a battle, earning the title of Red Storm at a young age during the revolutionary war because he made the battle fields rain with the blood of his enemies for days on end. Takeshi himself, however, doesn't pay much attention to these bits of folklore people spark up about him, chuckling often when the stories of his youth are brought about and assuring people that age has mellowed him at least a little bit so he no longer does things to that extreme.

The side of the Hebikage most are unable to see is the side shown only to his family, a caring father and loving husband. Many would not believe this side really exists even if they could see it in action since it is so out of the known nature exhibited by the iron cross. Though skeptical in rumor this side really does exist while limited to only the closest of friends and kinsmen, though Takeshi wouldn't deny him being this way he sees no reason to tell people about it so he never does.

Likes:
Enjoying the company of his family and friends, while not outwardly friendly Takeshi has reached out and made friends with a handful of very important people. A natural host with his heightened charisma and good looks, he touches the hearts of his people and takes pleasure in his under dog hero status though he is no longer not the number one contender in his country it strokes his ego and that's always nice. On a more shinobi-level way of looking at it Takeshi enjoys training and battle, though full open battle is mostly behind him in the revolution he is always seeking a true challenge again should one ever arise.

Dislikes:
Though he hated his grandfather with the passion of a thousand demons he was in the end, his grandfather and there was someone that damaged him and earned the hatred of the Hebikage forever. Hagane Kinzoku suffered defeat at the hands of a teenage Nahaji Sankuro at the end of his conquest, though his fall in the battle was due to grief from the loss of his first born son and not due to the strength of his opponent he still lost for the first time even and that destroyed him on the inside, after that day his descent into darkness began which brought decades of chaos to the Hidden Storm. To Takeshi, had the Sankuro not taken advantage of his grandfather at that point the sufferings of his people would have never had to happen and so that is why the land of red sand would be painted red should he ever have his way.

Motivation:
Though the revolution brought forth by Gintoki was completed by his successor Takeshi the change in power only brought comfort to the people of the hidden storm for a short while. They feared that with such a young leader he would easily be swayed by the whims of the old advisers and elders and although that fear was alleviated for the majority by him either banishing those in support of Hagane's rule even in his death rather than killing them it still remains so he has made it his life long goal to if nothing else bring peace and calm state of mind to his people.

Fears:
Loss of kin, as a child Takeshi only let himself get close to a few people. Now as an adult he can look around to see every one of those people either in the grave or stored so far away that even he isn't allowed to visit them without a special reason. People have tried to assassinate his wife and kidnap his son, in response he has made public examples of what happens by messing with his family by halfway killing these people and nailing them to the gates to howl in agony for weeks on end until the finally shrivel away and starve. Although up until now the fear of loss has been kept away due to his strength and ability to protect he fears for what happens on the day that his strength fails him and all is lost once again.



Kinzoku

Bloodline:
Kinzoku Kogei

Bloodline Ability:
Kinzoku kogei grants several abilities to select members of the clan. Firstly the only members of the clan able to use these abilities must first be of at least age fifteen and been pierce through the heart by a piece of steel without knowing that he is activating his powers, thus the secret of how the powers are activate are well kept from everyone and talking about it is a high crime like treason against the clan as a whole. Those who are lucky enough to gain access to the powers of his clan’s bloodline are granted the following powers.

~Steel Skin: Taijutsu used by people of their own rank are only half as effective, physical blows used by those at least two ranks below them are completely nullified. This however is not effective against weapons for an unknown reason.

~Metal Craft: Members are able to bend metal up to the strength of steel with ease; this is not a showing of strength however but instead a subconscious restructuring of the items molecular structure. This also allows them access to the metal nature of chakra.

~Lightning Rod: The bits of the anatomy which are extremely similar to metal granted by Kinzoku kogei grant a higher affinity for raiton jutsu. This allows them more power for jutsu of those elements so that the power of raiton techniques are treated like they were one rank higher as well as the ability to be struck by natural lightning and shove the energy into the ground where it is nullified (note: This ability is not able to nullify lightning chakra and is only able to be used by A-rank and higher clan members).

Clan History:
Early on in the history of the ninja world the Kinzoku clan was a feared force among the ranks even before a village structure was established. The clan leader Hagane Kinzoku, the first, was a man of military mindset and craved a large amount of power, so when messengers from the land’s government came to him about combining all the local clan’s into one to create one of the first village’s similar to the one being put together in the far south, he agreed quickly since he knew that even his powerful clan would not stand a chance against multiple powerful families in an alliance. Along with a handful of other shinobi clans in the land the village of Arashigakure was formed and Hagane’s lust for power increased even more to the point where he was willing to kill for it. Going against the wishes of his clan’s members Hagane pushed further and further toward village leadership and to overthrow the first village leader. In the end he snuck into the kage’s residence at night and instead of empty corridors and a sleeping ninja he was greeted with angry members of the Kinzoku clan.

Feeling betrayed Hagane fought his fellow clansmen brutally, killing nearly half of the clan before he was finally struck down by his own fifteen year old son with a steel spear through the skull. Since then the Kinzoku clan’s actions that day have been viewed as a great service to the village and as such have been looked at as trustworthy shinobi who will forever remain loyal to Arashigakure.



History:
He began his life as an orphan, the product of a terrible rape which the victim refused to give up. After his mother passed away during labor Takeshi was moved around from house to house within his clan because no one wanted to keep him for very long, even though he was a well-behaved child he was seen as a sinful black mark in the otherwise perfect tapestry of their clan's noble history. He was a half-blood, his mother having the traits of the metal benders while his father had been nothing more than a criminal without shinobi blood of any sort.

When he turned fifteen he was subjected to the right of passage as all children are within the family as to activate their bloodline abilities, however the man who led this particular ritual was the most extreme of all, the clan head and his own grandfather Hagane XVII

The spiteful old man performed the ritual just the way everyone within his otherwise perfect family desired and missed the heart completely as he struck. Takeshi knew that as his grandfather had been known as the greatest swordsman of his time there was no way he could miss his mark and that it had been intentional and could never trust him again but it mattered not for he would lay there dead. After three days he rose up very stiff and gasping for air which struck both fear and anger throughout all but one Kinzoku.

This one man was none other than the closest thing to a father Takeshi ever had, his uncle Gintoki. Around the time Takeshi had turned seven the idea of being passed around was no more as at that time he was claimed by his uncle to stay with him long term and he never left Takeshi on his own again. Gintoki even became Takeshi's jounin sensei when he graduated from the academy and alongside his two reject friends Aoi Shogun and Hisoka Aburame became a legandary pest to the village.

Over the years Team Gintoki became legend in a brighter light, known throughout the village as one of the best working units for their age group. Over the years they all reached special jonin level and went on a covert mission assigned directly by the Hebikage, Hagane, and everything went to hell. They had been set up, Hisoka and Aoi were captured and taken into prison for treason while Takeshi and Gintoki managed to escape just barely and went into exile.

It would take a full year for Takeshi and his uncle to return home, in that time both gained immense power and with an army of all the nations enslaved by the land of snakes led a revolution which resulted in the fall of Hagane entirely. The old man died by Takeshi's hands but before he could do it the old bastard took Gintoki with him. This was the day Takeshi rose to the title of Hebikage nearly twelve years ago and marked the beginning of the end for the dark days of the bloody storm.

Since that day Takeshi has since wed his love and had a son, his new family has become his one true treasure even among the legendary artifacts he has obtained. He has liberated the nations that stood by him in his rise to power but relations with the land of red sand are still on uneasy ground and with their strong ally on his opposite border he must tread lightly of risk war, what does the future hold for Takeshi and the hidden storm? No one is sure but the hand of fate is always pushing to and from so it will be an interesting ride.

The group has been hiking through the frozen hell known as Jötunheimr for hours, the temperature was just below freezing but with the wind chill it felt unbearable even to Takeshi who had ventured here more times than he would have liked in his life. When they entered the door of unmovable stone to enter this realm, Takeshi warned his students that they must never lower their guard. Normally the Aesir wouldn't allow warriors to enter this world until they grew stronger than their current levels but the situation was dire so they had little choice. As they found themselves now at the base of a mountain who's summit was hidden far above the gray and cobalt clouds the kage drew his hammer. There was something nearby, possibly a giant wolf but surely not their target, it was far to early to find him quite yet but the fighting would start prematurely, nothing would be seen but the sound of paws on virgin snow would sound alerting the entire group of the presence of hostile predators in the area. "Honor thy guard younglings for the feral offspring of Fenris approaches in numbers. Remember though that we must conserve our strength for the true enemy." Takeshi fell into a defensive stance as six pairs of glowing red eyes opened to pierce through the white background and break away from the otherwise perfect camouflage of the snow wolves. Each would stand seven feet at the shoulder placing them all larger than every shinobi, this would be the opening test of Jötunheimr but it would for sure not be the last.
