| First Name: Raleth Last Name: Ookami Gender: Male Height: 6"2' Weight: 195 lbs Age: 28 Birthday: 10/16 Village:Rank: Sannin Elements: Katon, Fuuton, Doton Specializations: Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Fuuinjutsu Personality: Raleth's own personality has changed since he has grown, his once carefree and childish nature has now turned into a cold and merciless one. He was once all about peace, he even betrayed those he loved to keep peace, but as he grew and mastered his powers he realized that those dreams were hopeless. He now knows that you cannot keep peace, you cannot stop death. If one wants to save the weak, one needs to kill the one attacking. But this keeps a vicious circle, and death is ever constant. He now takes to drinking and traveling with his partner and life long friend, Zetzray. He now holds no affiliation to any village nor kage or leader. He is not bound by ideologies and any "ninja way", but his own. Raleth has also been known to rip out throats and disembowel his opponents and feast on them. After all, he still is a wolf. Likes: Raleth holds few attachments, and rarely has any loved ones or bonds, as he had broken them all to achieve a sort of inner peace. The only one whom he trusts is Zetzray, and in a sense the only one who can teach him reason. Raleth, though cold, can be very emotional and will often kill and go full out even on the weakest opponents. As well, Raleth enjoys and loves both alcohol and ryo. He is a master of the Drunken Fist, and will often utilize it in bar fights. And the only other item he loves just as much as alcohol, would be ryo. Money, power, wealth, this is what Raleth loves. He has even advertised in the world as a hired gun, and will take on major or minor village problems and fight for whoever can pay him the most. Dislikes: Raleth's hates childish optimism and that hopeful future that some little genin have about changing the world and the words "Believe It!" He finds it too innocent for the real world and will often lash at those who think so. He also hates tour guides, as a mission he once did for a village he no longer cares for made him hate them with a passion, and will in fact, rip out there throats. At most he has a slight disdain for everything, but only a hint of it. Motivation: Raleth's own motivation happens to be greed and lust, his two favorite sins. His next drink, women, or payment is what motivates him. And perhaps it is his next battle, victory, and meal that motivates him. Though in his sub consciousness, it may be a sort of small flicker of hope that the world will be in peace. Maybe. Fears: Raleth's underlying fear, which really isn't even a fear more of a worry, that one day he will lose control and go on a rampage of destruction, even killing his best friend. But this doesn't even bother him, as he knows his partner will keep him under control, it is still there in the back of his mind. Ookami ClanBloodline: Getsuei-Isei Bloodline Ability: An Ookami is said to be half-wolf, half-human, and the debate is whether they are humans who have achieved wolf form, or wolves who have ascended to a human form. Whatever it is, an Ookami can utilize the power of their wolf-half to unleash devastating and destructive attack. Once an Ookami begins to charge chakra, their eyes change into the corresponding maturity level, a sure sign of an attack. An Ookami is a master of both Taijutsu and Katon, their flames being as white as a full moon. As an Ookami grows, their wolf-half and human-half become more intertwined, until they are one. An attacking Ookami's mastery of their clan can be measured by their eyes: Mollis Ictus (D-Rank) - Spoiler:
A young pup, one who has just begun to delve into the powers of their blood. A 15% permanent increase in strength, speed, and reflex, but a strong and almost irresistible urge to explore. Their senses are high, able to hear sounds most can't, and even smell opponents, but it is not refined. The young Ookami can pin-point the exact location of anything in a 30 yard radius, and can track anything that is a mile away. Durus Acer (B-Rank) - Spoiler:

They need to meditate on themselves, under the watchful eye of the Full Moon. The Ookami gets a permanent 30% increase in strength, speed, and reaction. The senses are more finite, and now they are able to pin-point a scent and sound easy, even able to do it through smoke screens. The Ookami can pin-point any sound or scent in a 60 yard radius, and can track anything that is 3 miles away. An Ookami also gains the ability to sense chakra by smelling it out and can use it to tell whether an opponent is charging chakra, but cannot use it to find an opponent. Purus Ferus (S-Rank) - Spoiler:
A Master of the blood, a Pure Wolf. Their mind and body are in one, as our their wolf-half and human-half, in fact it is impossible to tell the difference. They can pin-point an exact scent or sound 120 yard radius, and can track any scent no matter the distance as long as it has been less than a week since the scent was placed. The chakra sensing increases, able to distinguish chakras and pinpoint an opponent only using chakra in the same radius. Another ability of the Ookami is its connection to the Moon. During a a Full Moon an Ookami's wolf-half seem to become excited, coursing through their body and for the day of the Full Moon the Ookami's stats are all increased by 100%. However, during a new moon the Ookami's wolf-half recedes, taking away all stat increases and reduce them by 100%. Location: Land of Vines (Origin) Scattered (Now) Clan History: It started long ago, in a small camp site deep in the forests of Morigakure. A young couple had just concevied their first child, but it was grim. He was born sick, weak, frail. The couple went to every doctor in the village, yet none could help. The couple lost hope, and laid him to sleep. They watched everyday, and night, waiting for the time to come, when their child would soon die. On the day when the parents knew the time would come, a small white wolf came into the house. The father, weak with greif, didn't do anything to it. the wolf came up to the child, their parents doing nothing. The white wolf looked into the childs eyes, and in a flash of bright light the wolf was gone, the child awake and healthy. the parents could not believe what happened, a miracle. The child smiled, and the mother noticed his teeth were sharper. years went on, and the boy kept changing. When he was 10, his eyes became wild. At 13, a tail grew, and at 18 wolf ears, by 21, he could turn into a wolf. His parent were always proud of him, as he excelled in everything, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu. He married, and had a child. He two, was born with the wolven features. Time passed, more people with the wolf in them sprang. Though they had diffrent elements, they decided to band together to make a clan. They decided to name the clan the Ookami clan, after the wolf who started it. History: Prologue A Howl of Birth: The Early Years- Spoiler:
It was in a village now destroyed, in a land mass now submerged, on a night that was calm, even the winds would not stir, when the moon was at its full power, bathing the world in its pale glow, that a young boy was born. He was born into the family of the Ookami, with silver hair, a silver tail, and even silver wolf ears. He was tan, a normal feature in that village. The village was located on an island in the Land of Blazes, near Huoshangakure. This young boy was named Raleth, an heir to the Ookami Clan. He was born into a very wealthy family, but had a passion that seemed to go past this wealth, a passion for fighting and traveling, one that would seem to contradict his wealthy heritage.
When Raleth was five he seemed to master the transformation ability of his clan, able to go from wolf pup to human in a few seconds, without even trying. At that time, it was unheard of any Ookami able to do that without at least a little effort. With this, Raleth was able to sneak out of his very strict parent's watchful gaze, and was able to go and wander around the village, in disguise. It was there that he saw the true nature of living wealthy; He saw people in poverty, in horrid conditions in where every day was a struggle to live. Raleth's childhood innocence was broken, as he had thought that everyone lived with such wealth. This had changed him, as he did not think it was right to live in such wealth while others lived so horribly. He went to his parents, and explained the strife he saw. But their answer would unsettle him. They explained to him that this was the way, and not to worry about them. After all, they were just commoners. This angered the very young Raleth, but he bid his time. He needed to wait, until he was strong enough to do something.
A Blood Moon: True Power- Spoiler:
When Raleth was 10 he had entered the Academy, thanks to the generosity of his parents. There he had learned the basics of being a ninja, the skills and the ability to utilize chakra into powerful ninjutsu attacks, and there mastered more of his Ookami jutsu. He was a very good student, even his instructors would describe him as a "prodigy", "the next kage", and many many more praises. But Raleth did not care, he just needed to become stronger, and quick. After only three years of the academy, Raleth had graduated to the rank of Genin, and quickly began to help the village. He began to take missions that helped out all the commoners, but this did not sit well with his parents.
Raleth's parent's were furious when they found out he was helping the commoners, they found it disgusting and unbecoming of a wealthy Ookami. But this angered Raleth, and he argued his case. He pleaded for the commoners, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. His parents would not hear of it, which angered Raleth even more. Raleth's anger began to boil, his rage became unbearable, and fate seemed to either smile benevolently, or malevolently. The clouds in the sky parted and a full moon was seen, its light almost focusing on the young Raleth. Raleth lost control, his powers become too much, his wolf instincts kicked in. On that day, the moon glowed red...
Genin ArcA Lost Wolf- Spoiler:
A young wolf pup was shivering in the alley ways of the once prosperous village in the Land of Blazes. The wolf pup was cold, hungry, and on the verge of starvation. This wolf pup was a bit infamous in the village, as one who stole food. Most butchers were wary of the pup, and some would even try and kill it. This day was a very unlucky for the pup, as he was caught trying to steal sausages. His stomach growled as he remembered that smell. He was in a miserable state, and was so hungry. But today, this little pup's life would change.
A passing man had just bought a huge piece of steak, and had just cooked it. The smell was intoxicating to the starving wolf pup, and as his stomach growled he knew he needed to get that food. As the man passed him, the pup sprang into action, biting the man's arm and forcing him to drop the meat. The wolf pup grabbed the steak and ran off, hearing the yells of swears from the man. He ran into another alleyway, transforming into a young boy. The boy began to feast on the steak, eating ravenously. As he finished he belched loudly, happy that his belly was full. However, the sound of someone coming alerted him. Whomever it was spoke to him, asking if he had seen a wolf. It only took a few seconds, and the man realized that this boy was the wolf, as his Ookami appearance gave him away. Raleth was scared, he thought he would get in trouble, but it turns out this man was kind. He made casual talk, asking who he was, where he was from. Raleth lied, telling him we was new to the village, and that he was homeless, which was partially true. The man had introduced himself as the kage of the village, and Raleth was surprised, and the kage asked him to follow him, to give a tour of his village. Raleth had no choice but to accept, and followed him as he explained the village. Raleth was happy, as he was the first one to show him kindness in such a long time. Yet, the winds were changing in the world. And this attachment would soon be broken, by a chance arrival in an island village.
The Great Betrayer- Spoiler:
Raleth was now about 17, but still a Genin. He had yet to enter the Chuunin Exams, as he had deemed it unworthy to become stronger. He chose, instead, to do missions to help out the village. He felt a bond to it now, and by chance his kage, and friend, and even mentor, gave him a mission. It was to travel to an island village, Harikengakure, and send a message to the kage. Raleth was excited; he actually had never traveled outside the village yet, and was eager to start. He went to the docks at dawn, and soon departed for this major island village. The waves were calm, yet something was off. Something seemed to stir the waves, as if a major change was just about to happen. It was a three day trip, but on the third day the weather turned violent. A massive hurricane surrounded the village, and was too strong. Raleth was thrown overboard, and soon was left unconscious.
He woke up on the shore of the village, his headband now lost among the sea. He coughed up water as he began to stir, and found himself on the shores of Harikengakure. However, he had no way of reaching his home village, and did not of the ryo to pay for the trip. He was lost in this unfamiliar land, and knew no one. All he could do was move towards the village, in hopes that someone would find him. He found the village after days of exploring the island, and went in disguised as a wolf pup. He didn’t know how people would react to him, as they probably had never seen an Ookami before. And again, it seemed he found himself in the alleyways, hungry, and alone. But this time he did not know the map of the village, and searched aimlessly for the market, but could not. He howled in the alleyways, and it seemed another important man would heed his calls.
A green haired man, with a kage cloak, had heard this call and came to investigate what it was. And what he found would change Raleth forever. He found an injured wolf pup, on the verge of death. This man took in the wolf pup, and brought him too his home, and nursed it, and even fed it. It was a week until Raleth got better, but when he did he was grateful. He revealed himself to be an Ookami, but lied about his village affiliation. However, the kage, who introduced himself as Dominic Edrick, knew the features of the village he was from, and pointed this out. Raleth would have normally run away when his cover was blown, but he felt safe in this village. And it seemed, in his heart, a sudden shift of loyalty was happening. Raleth had been in the village for about two weeks, and was even considered a villager. Everything seemed all right with him. He felt safe, and had even forgotten about his old affiliation. But it seemed, his old kage had not forgotten him. A ship had sailed into the docks of Harikengakure, one baring his old village’s flag. As the ship docked an old kage stepped off of the ship, anger in his eyes. He had one mission: Find his missing ninja. At the time the ship docked Raleth was repairing a bar, and as the familiar scent of his kage filled his nose he knew what was going to happen. His kage spoke, his voice angry, ordering him to come to the village back to face trial. But Raleth would not listen, as he had felt attached to this new village. This angered the kage, and he attacked Harikengakure and Raleth, but Dominic came in the last minute, attacking Raleth’s old kage. The battle lasted for hours, as they were equally matched, their power destroying the harbor they were on, but Dominic prevailed, forcing the kage out of the village. But Dominic was not done, he was furious at this unprovoked attack. He flew to the Raleth’s village, and in one massive attack destroyed it, sinking the island it was on.
This, however, did not bother Raleth one bit. He had a change of heart, he was bound to Harikengakure. One that day, rumors was spread about a ninja: A ninja who betrayed his village, and caused the destruction of it, a ninja who will be forever known as The Great Betrayer.
A Rival: Zetzray- Spoiler:
A month after the incident, Raleth was given a mission by his new kage, Dominic Edrick. This mission was to report to the arena during a hurricane, and battle an up-and-coming ninja. Raleth accepted and reported to the arena. Raleth waited for his opponent to come, and when he did he was quite surprised. It was a ninja with green hair and eyes, another clan member of Dominic. Raleth was excited, he had only seen the power of the Edricks, and had never experienced it in battle. His opponent seemed angry, and unbeknownst to Raleth, his opponent would soon be his greatest rival and greatest friend.
The battle started, with his opponent attacking first. The battle was glorious, taking hours, the hurricane winds increasing as the battle reached its climax, and in the end, Raleth had lost to his opponent. The skill of the Edrick was too much, and his opponent finally gave him his name.
"Zetzray Edrick"
Chuunin ArcChuunin Exams- Spoiler:
After months of training in the new village, when Raleth was about 19 years old, he finally entered the chuunin exams. His training partner was none other then his first opponent in Hirakengakure, Zetzray Edrick. And during their harsh training, they became very close friends. The exams were held in Hirakengakure, and Raleth was determined to win.
Raleth preformed excellently in the exams, beating all opponents almost flawlessly, showing the villagers the power he had, the power the Great Betrayer had. It was the final round, and Raleth's final opponent was revealed. It was none other, then Zetzray Edrick, his training partner. It was funny, they had never really sparred since that battle in the hurricane. Raleth wished his opponent good luck, as did Zetzray, and the fight started out at a high pace. The battle dragged on for hours, both fighters put in all their strength, but as the sun sets the full moon rose, and so did Raleth's strength. Through sheer luck, he had defeated Zetzray, and was ranked up to Special Jounin right away.
Special Jounin ArcA Defender of Harikengakure- Spoiler:
Raleth was now a Special Jounin of Harikengakure. He was much more powerful then he was only a few years ago, and with it a new sense of pride had developed in him. He had taken it upon himself to defend the village with his life, and took every mission he could to defend it. He had abandoned his earlier mission to help the commoners, and just decided to protect them.
He took missions that ranged from killing off gangs to defending the village from mythical beasts. The most notable beast was the Un-Serpent, a master of ice jutsu that tried to destroy the harbor of Harikengakure. Raleth, by himself, took on the beast and attacked it, defeating it with massive attacks. At the end of this battle, he took the teeth of this beast and fashioned them into bone gauntlets, which he has always brought into battle. Soon the villagers proclaimed him as their defender, and his pride in his village grew even more. He was glad to be a part of Harikengakure. He continued to protect the village, growing in power as his age did. In what seemed like an instant, he was 26, and still protecting the village he loved.
An Injured Wolf- Spoiler:
Raleth was out training a new gennin, when a nameless ninja came in and attacked him. He apparently was a missing-nin of the village, and had came to exact his revenge. Raleth battled him, but he was no match for this ninja. The ninja stabbed him in the stomach, and left a huge gash that went from his left hip to his right shoulder, and impaled Raleth's right palm as Raleth tried to defend himself, leaving a huge hole, and slashing out Raleth's right eye. Raleth was left on the verge of death as the ninja left, but was able to head to the hospital, passing out in front of the door. He was in the hopsital for about three months, and during those months anger built in Raleth. And when he got better, he left the village, determined to get stronger. He needed to get stronger. And he succeeded
Jounin ArcThe Cosmopolitan Wolf - Spoiler:
Raleth had left Harikengakure for 2 years, traveling the world. He became acquainted with every village, and had even met new people in these villages. He would always mark a favorite bar in each village, and they would always remember him. His strength, as well as his intellect, grew with every trip to every village. It was during this time that he began to meditate on his clan, focusing on the scrolls he had kept when he first arrived in Harkikengakure.
It was in a clearing in the Land of Vines, where Raleth found a very spiritual area. It seemed the very plants were resonating with an energy that was ancient, mysterious, and powerful. It was there Raleth decided to meditate on the philosophy of the Ookami: Whether an Ookami is a wolf with a human form, or a human with a wolf form. He stayed still meditating in that clearing for weeks, only moving to drink and eat the bare minimum he needed. It was after two months of this meditating, that Raleth had found his revelation, and discovered an answer to this question. With his new found knowledge, he came back to Harikengakure after two years, and once he was there he was ranked up to Jounin, and even joined the ranks of ANBU with his best friend Zetzray, who had welcomed his return with drinks on him.
An Un-Expected Challenge: Hayashi- Spoiler:
After being back in the villager for a few days, both Raleth and Zetzray were given a mission. It was to assassinate two missing-nin that were planning to attack the village. Raleth chose Hayashi, a master in Suiton. He arrived at the destination, a small little island of the coast of Harikengakure, and went to do battle with him, but before they did Hayashi spoke to Raleth.
"How can you blindly follow your kage? Do you really know what he plans? You preach peace, but follow and ideology you know nothing about! All humans are horrible, corrupt people. That damned Kage is no different. I am not a murder, nor a traitor. I am one who believes in peace, and the first step is killing that kage..."
Hayashi had fallen at the might of Raleth, but his words stuck with Raleth. The winds of change were again blowing...
The Powerful Elementals- Spoiler:
In the middle of the major continent, in the center of the world, lies a mighty mountain that pierces the sky and heavens, whose peaks reach into space. This mountain, though massive is invisible to most who are not one with themselves. It takes years of meditation, and a personal nirvana to even be able to take a peak at this structure. There is also an aura, a ancient one that surrounds this mountain, that seems to bend the very elements themselves.
On Raleth's many travels he happened upon this massive mountain, and went to the base. He was greeted by the Elementals, Golems as they go by the mortals. These Elementals were beings of pure energy, of fire, wind, earth, water, or even lightning. They were powerful, and could teach Raleth much. Raleth wanted to harness their power, for his own peaceful purposes. After many harsh trials, he was able to sign the scroll of the Golem. As he went back, the very wind whispered to the world, that a new Golem Summoner had been released into the world.
The Final Chapter- Spoiler:
It was the day of Raleth's S-Rank test, when his strength would finally be recognized by the village he loved. However, as he looked in the mirror, he did not see a ninja of Harikengakure. He saw an outsider, someone who did not belong. And again, the words of the dead rang in him:
How can you blindly follow your kage? Do you really know what he plans? You preach peace, but follow and ideology you know nothing about!
Raleth sighed as he went to the arena to undertake his test. And, to his disdain, it was fighting his once good friend Dominic Edrick, his kage. The battle was quick, and Raleth was hospitalized, but he had passed the test.
After two weeks him and his life long friend Zetzray were released out of the hospital, as they both had passed their test. In fact, they both were proclaimed Sannin of Harikengakure, for their battle prowess and achievements for the village. But this did not cause happiness in Raleth, only anger. He hated the idea of being chained to a village, to someone else's ideologies. Raleth bid his friend farewell as he was going to the Land of the Boar. Raleth could sense a change in his friend, almost as if he too had a change of heart. As Raleth stayed in the village, he pondered on his own thoughts:
How can I follow someone else's ideologies? Am I just a tool? I can't! I refuse! I will not be a tool to someone else, for someone else's fractured idea of peace!
Raleth had made his choice. He would not be chained down to any village, he would not be someone else's weapon!
He waited for Zetzray to return, and when he came back they both understood. They both had their own reasons for leaving the village, and they both understood the other's reason. Together, they took off their headbands and left them on their Kage's table. And they left, forever wandering the world.
RP Sample:Raleth was looking at himself in the mirror, looking at his face, his body, his eyes. He was shirtless, wearing loose black sweat pants. He brushed his hand on his left eye-patch, a sort of cheesy ritual to bring good luck. His red wolf eye scanned his whole body, a map of hard training and mortal wounds. He traced the scar that went from his upper right chest, the repaired flesh discolored and tough, to his lower left kidney. For a second the scar burned, as he remembered the day that damned Kagyua nearly killed him. Raleth observed his own skin, a deep tan that was unlike any Shippuugakure ninja. In the mirror he saw his young self, with a Kazangakure headband on, and Raleth smiled. He turned around and walked to his closet, opening it and finding the deep black ANBU compression suit. He felt the texture, and the many missions he did in it flashed back. He put it on, zipping it up in the back so his whole body was covered. He then took off his Un-Serpent's Wrath bone-gauntlets, the bone cold and harsh as ice. He put his hands in them, opening and closing them, making sure they fit right and were on properly. He looked outside: The sun was high in the sky, the light feeling warm and comforting. Raleth only reveled in it for a few moments, then quickly went to prepare the rest of his supplies. He took two white ceramic bottles of sake, a gift from his favorite bar, and tied them around his back so they would be at his sides, and made sure they were closed tightly so they wouldn't spill. He took the huge scroll on the table and tied it around his back, so that it was diagonal on it, but lower then his shoulder. He then grabbed his headband, looking at its mirror finish, and again saw himself. A Kazan ninja in the Hurricane village...Raleth shook the thought from his mind. He was no Kazangakure ninja anymore. He was not an outsider. He was a Shippuu ninja, and a proud one at that. He tied the headband around his neck, making it resemble a collar. He walked out the door and opened it, stopping. A warm breeze greeted him, and the smell of the ocean invigorated him. He walked out, closing the door and locking it. The sun was indeed warm, and the sky was a bright blue, cloudless and pure. The birds flew overhead and sang their song as Raleth walked towards the arena. And though the scene was beautiful, Raleth's thoughts drifted... He thought of all his trials. His past missions, his victories, his defeats, his past, and his future. It all started in the once thriving village that was Kazangakure, a village he once called home. By chance he left to explore the world, and managed to sneak onto a passenger ship going to the village of Shippuugakure. Raleth had never seen the ocean then, and his curiosity always guided him. The aura of that village drew him in, and soon he met the Kage and his future partner Zetzray. Suddenly a huge amount of images washed through his eyes: His first battle with Zetzray, him winning the Chuunin Exams, the betrayal of Haru, his fight with the Un-Serpents, his encounter with the Kaguya, and him being apart of the ANBU. He had come along way since being that little Kazan street urchin... Raleth found the arena, its huge walls covering and shielding what was inside. What would he find in there? A trial? A powerful opponent? Nothing? There were millions of possibilities, but Raleth didn't care. He entered the Arena, ready for anything. Mission Log
