Celebrity Protection

As Yoshi look at the mission board for a suitable mission, a mission caught his sight. He then took the request from the board, asked for permission from the kage, and set off for the mission. “Protect a celebrity, huh? What if it’s the wonderful and cool Makashi Itsuda?! Ah, that’ll be wonderful. His voice is awesome! I’ll ask for his signature! Maybe I can sell it to Matsuda or Itaki!” said Yoshi. He then ran home, and took his bag that had a notebook and some stationeries. “Bye mum, I’m leaving for a mission! I’ll be back by dinner! Love ya!” said Yoshi to his mum. His mum passed him a box and said, “Take care, Yoshi. Here’s your lunch. Don’t be late!” Yoshi nodded his head and headed off. “Let’s see....I’m suppose to meet him at “Izumi’s Tea house”. He’ll be wearing a red mask.” thought Yoshi. He then went off to the tea house. As he looked around, he found his client. “Ah! It must be that guy, since he’s the only masked man here.” thought Yoshi. Yoshi then went to the man. “Hi, I’m Yoshi. I’ll be your bodyguard for today. Nice to meet you.”

As the masked man listens to Yoshi’s introduction, he smiled and took off his mask, saying, “Hi, Yoshi. I’m Makashi Itsuda. Nice to meet you.” Hearing the name ”Makashi Itsuda” and the face of the singer he admire, he took out three papers and said, “Makashi-sama, I’m your biggest fan! Please, may I have your autograph on each paper?” Makashi smiled and signed three of the paper. As Yoshi keeps the paper and pen, Makashi said, “Okay, all you got to do is escort me to the studio, and then back. Can you do that, kiddo?” Yoshi smiled, showed him a peace sign and said, “Easy as pie! I’ll be protecting you from the shadows!” Makashi smiled and went to the counter to pay. After paying, Makashi headed out of the shop. Yoshi then followed him stealthily. Yoshi easily blended into the crowd. He followed Makashi for a while, until Makashi entered another store. However, Yoshi did not enter the store. Although he waited outside, he did not let Makashi out of his sight, not even for a second. As Yoshi observed him, Makashi appeared to be having lunch. Yoshi then leaned to a lamp post and waited for him. “Heh....I so wanna eat Mum’s delicious cooking, but I’ve got to be sure he’s always on my sight.” said Yoshi as he sighed.

After about 20 minutes inside the store, Makashi exited the store. Makashi then continued walking. Yoshi then stretched and continued to follow him. He followed Makashi into an alley. “A shortcut?” he thought, “Finally, some action! Usually alleys are where people get attacked and where the hero saves the weak. Finally, something to do instead of just following Itsuda-kun!” Although Yoshi waited and waited, nothing happened. Finally, Makashi stopped at a building. He signaled Yoshi to come. Yoshi then ran to him. Makashi opened the door and said, “Enter the studio with me. “ Yoshi nodded and complied to his request. As they entered the studio, Makashi talked to the director. After talking for a few minutes, Makashi entered a room. Yoshi then thought, “I guess now’s the time to eat!” Yoshi then took out his bento and started eating. In the bento was rice with some miso soup, teriyaki chicken and grilled salmon. Yoshi then started to pray. After praying, he said, “Itadakimasu!” He then started to eat his lunch. After lunch, Yoshi waited for Makashi. After an hour, Yoshi grew impatient. He then placed his ears on the door trying to listen. As he tried to listen, the door opened and Yoshi fell through the door. “Oops,” said Makashi. Yoshi then got up, stick his tongue out, rubbed his head and laughed a bit. Makashi then said to Yoshi, “I’m done now. Let’s head home now.” Yoshi nodded his head and followed Makashi out of the studio.

As they walked out of the studio, Yoshi waited until there was a distance between Makashi and him before starting to follow him. As they walked into a junction, Makashi was stopped by two men. The first man said to Makashi, “You’re the superstar Makashi, eh? You must be super rich! Gimme your money or Imma kill you.” Yoshi then smiled and ran to the first guy. As he appeared in front of the man, he gave the man a punch on his stomach. “Yoshi Secret Technique:Punch of the heavens!” shouted Yoshi. The man fell to the ground and rolled in pain. The second guy, who was shocked, charged towards Yoshi. Yoshi side-stepped with ease and the man collided with the wall. As both of the man came together, Yoshi said, “Do you guys even know who I am? I’m the apprentice of the kage, and he taught me a secret technique. You better run now.” Yoshi then started to do some random handseals. He then took a deep breathe and said, “ Kage Secret Technique:Heaven and Hell Pu-” Before he could complete his phrase, the shouts of the thugs were all that he couldI hear as they ran away. Yoshi then started to laugh. Makashi tapped Yoshi on the shoulder and said, “Great job! I didn’t know you were an apprentice of the kage. I never heard of such Taijutsu before. Must be some secret and powerful one.” Yoshi giggled and replied, “I’m not an apprentice of the kage. All those techniques were fake. That technique was fake. I just did random handseals. As for that punch, it was a normal punch. I just shouted some random stuff like how those superheroes usually do.” Makashi then started to laugh. After he calmed down, he continued to walk home. After reaching the inn, Makashi thanked Yoshi. Yoshi then replied, “You’re welcome!” Yoshi bid farewell and then ran to the kage office for his reward.
