Mission: Exercising the Canines

Still no sun, and Shitai was getting unnerved so much that he accepted two missions in one day. Somehow he managed to get a mission that brought him to the same place he had been before and he could spot the hole he had to dig out to retrieve top dollar sand for glass blowing. The difference was now instead of a glass jar he had a medium sized dog on a leash in front of him attempting to drag him along the sands, but Shitai made sure to assert dominance over the creature quickly and it came back a few inches of slack. He smmiled a bit as once more he thought of his lab with the bloody mess everywhere but frowned as his fantasy was cut short by a series of barks from the canine on the other end of the leather strap in his hand.

He looked to see what the hell it could be and noticed a cat drinking from the oasis' pool. He just shrugged and held his hand out so that a female kikaichu hopped onto the puppy and then he let go of the leash. The tracker would ensure he didn't lose the dog and he was sure it wouldnt get itself killed so this should all work out well for everybody.

He sat down and looked up at the sky as the dog barked and the cat hissed around the pool itself. He returned to his fantasy of chopping up the new corpse the medical squads had assigned him to inspect the idea of cutting into the flesh sent chills of pleasure running through his veins as he smiled. Once more the damn dog interrupted him by jumping in his lap and stretching out like he was going to sleep.

A look of slight annoyance crossed Shitai's face as he looked at the dog as it started to slightly yawn. Then he just shook his head and scratched it behind the ears. "You really are an annoying little fucker ain't ya? Well at least you aren't troubled by this loss of sun based so long as you have cats to chase but you tired yourself out so let's get you home." He picked up the little corgi and placed him under his arm as he started heading back to the village. The sand felt dead cold underneath his bare feet and he shook his head as he tried to forget just how much the loss of the sun bothered him, and that if even a chronic shut in missed the warm rays the rest of the village must be getting ready to riot.

As he walked through the village the little dog started getting jumpy and he got free of Shitai's loose grip. Normally he would run after the dog but he knew it was tired and there was already a tracker on it that would last a long time so he just placed his hands in his pocket and walked in the direction. He looked around and noticed that he was in the old factory district that had gotten wrecked as the Sabakukage brawled with Umikage Dominic Edrick to see if he was worth aligning with or whatever the real reason was. He listened and heard a faint barking in the distance and the kikaichu inside his head confirmed that it was the dog he needed to keep an eye out for.

He headed in that direction and found that the canine had found a female of his own and was having his way with her. He sighed and shook his head and grabbed his nose with two fingers. Rather than risk his fingers by pulling it off he just went inside a building and waited for it to come to him. After about ten minutes the corgi waddled in with a feeling of accomplishment around him. He looked at the animal for a second and wondered what he was waiting for. "If you can screw then you can walk, lets get going...." he looked at the dog's tag for the first time to see what this thing's name was, "...Ein. Lets get you home." He took the leash and the pair walked back to the mission center where he could collect and return the beast to it's owner.
