Mission: Fetching pure grain sand

The sky was still eternally dark though the boy was unable to tell if it was day or night at this point, in all honesty he had simply stopped caring and decided that like most people he would move on with his life and keep up his progress on his job. He had made chunin against all odds and this had inspired him to work harder on his shinobi duties and possibly even make jounin some day. He adjusted the large glass jar on his back, this set off some of his kikaichu to exit their hive and they set off crawling over his arms and chest. "Sorry about that guys, you ready to start collecting the sand?" The destruction bugs gave off a happy buzzing and Shitai smiled, "Alright then, let's get down to business guys." He placed the jar down on the edge of the oasis' bank and started feeling around for good sand while his friends scattered out and around the area. The insects grabbed small clumps of sand and crawled up the side of the jar to insert their carried load. Shi did his part to it wouldn't take long for this mission to be labeled complete.

The jar was getting around the halfway point and he was ready to take a short break, after all Shitai was more of a shut in than a fighter so even the walk out here had taken a small toll on him, though he had enjoyed it since he came barefoot and felt the individual grains of sand between each of his toes with every step. He laid down on his back for a bit and his kikaichu swarmed up on top of him and laid for a bit as well. He didn't say anything but instead made small buzzing sounds with his tongue that seemed to mimic a language that only the Aburame clan would be able to understand in a thousand life times due to their physical imperfections. He looked up at the dark sky and the dim lit stars, he sighed a bit at the memory of what was missing. Shi might be a nocturnal kid but when he came out into the village he always preferred the day time when the warm sun touched his face and brightened his day, now that even that was taken away he was starting to sink into his madness. He got back up and started scooping more of the fine grains of sand into the jar while allowing his kikai to continue resting for now, they worked hard and he felt they deserved a break.

He wasnt paying much attention to what he was doing, rather shi was staring off into the distance while his hands moved in rhythm placing sand in the jar bit by bit until it was completely full to the brim. He smiled softly, taking out a few items from his pocket. He placed the rubber seal on top of the jar and attached it with the elastic band before lifting it up and adjusting it on his back. As he rose up to his feet the kikaichu skittered toward him and he waited as they crawled up his pant leg and into one of the entrances and exits located on his body, this time in through a small incision slightly above his ankle. He laughed a little as they entered, the flapping of the skin back and forth as they went inside one by one. After a few minutes they were all back inside and a few crawled out the opening on his neck and hung out on his throat as he walked in a cool desert breeze. "Well guys, I guess we got it all done, time to turn this in and go home." He walked off into the desert toward the drop off center to get rid of his cargo so that it could be changed into glass.
