Today, after meeting a girl in the market of Morigakure on the Floor, I was in a particularly cheery mood. I hadn't felt this bubbly, or romantic, in years. I decided I would come out to the Sacred Grove, to see the heart-tree. I wore my black suit, with my hair tied back in a ponytail. I had my wings folded back and my summoning scroll tucked and tied underneath them to my back. It was just then that an inspiration song came to me. After singing it, a beautiful gazebo was built around the heart-tree, letting whoever wanted to come see its beauty a chance to rest and enjoy the magic of the forest. The song went as such:
The rain drops down from the deep grey sky,
Sliding slowly by my cheek, from the corner of my eye.
Are they tears or are they rain?
Is it cold or is it pain?
The rain drops down from the corner of my eye.
The thunder roars and booms from the depths of the abyss.
Raging through my head, with Satan’s sweet kiss.
Is it thunder, or is it madness?
Is it loud and filled with sadness?
The thunder roars and booms, with Satan’s sweet kiss.
Now all has gone quiet, the world has gone black.
I’ve now given up, and don’t want to fight back.
Is it dark, or have I lost?
Have I finally fallen to life’s great cost?
Now all has gone quiet, and I won’t fight back.
And then came a ray of light, when all hope had gone.
It was warm to the touch, like a beautiful dawn.
I feel nothing, I see naught,
But this light for which I fought.
And it was a ray of light, like a beautiful dawn.
The rain drops down from the deep grey sky.
Sliding slowly by my cheek, from the corner of my eye.
These tears aren’t tragic,
They are filled with love and magic.
The storm no longer matters, All that does is You and I.
