Journey to the Land of Vines

Both Raleth and Zetzray walked toward the dock, on the ship that would transport them back to their hideout. They had been in the Land of Blazes for a few days, and can finally leave this wretched place. Raleth had on a sort of travelers sack on his back, and in the sack was the skull of Shinobu Uchiha. it was good that they were leaving now, as rumors had started to spread of some grave robbers and flying pigs and what not. Raleth laughed as he heard people speak of this.

As he walked his red coat swayed in the wind, and he himself had on his ANBU cat mask. The mask always had the wicked smile, yet whomever looked at it would feel quite afraid. As passerby noticed the mask they became a bit scared and quickly hurried off, which produced a wicked smirk on Raleth. These villagers were so scared of a mask. If they knew what was about to come, they might die of shock.

Both him and Zetzray made it to the dock, waiting for the ship to arrive. The sun was low, and the waves were calm. There were, in fact, many people waiting for the ship to arrive. It seemed that that there were many tourists who came to visit the Land of Blazes, which Raleth found quite odd. What the hell could a giant volcano offer to tourists? Did they want to see an eruption? They did realize that they would all die? Raleth began to brood on the stupidity of all tourists, and soon became quite angry with them. Who knows? An accident might happen on the trip and someone could fall over board. His ears twitched as he heard the wooden boards creek and he turned to see a whale of a man walking towards the dock.

Great...this...is going to be aggravating...

As Zetzray and Raleth waited on the dock, their ship finally arrived. It was finally time for them to venture back to their base and complete their operation. Zetzray made his way onto the ship with Raleth following close behind him. Zetzray was intending on spending the entire ship ride studying the skull of Shinobu but instead he would end up doing something that he hadn't done in quite some time. he would be sparring with his rival raleth.

Zetzray walked up to Raleth after an hour of being on the ship, he was staring over board at the waters as the ship flowed gracefully through it. Zetzray tapped him on the shoulder after looking around to see that there was a giant mass of people on the deck of the ship. "Why dont we give the people a show... Its going to be quite some time before we dock in the country of the vines, and my blades are getting dull." zetzray smirked "Let's not sink the ship though..keep it to D rank techniques and lower alright?" Zetzray would wait for his reply and knowing that he would say yes he began to clear the Board walk of people, forming a gigantic circle in the middle of the 200 by 200 foot arena that they now had.

Zetzray would remove his mask revealing to the public that he was in fact zetzray Edrick of Harikengakure. People were now yelling out his name and even his alias's "Twin Hurricane" "The Green Falcon" "The Boar Sage" "One of The three Sannin". These were all heard in mixed voices throughout the crowd. zetzray would draw Koten with his right hand and smirk. With his left hand he would gesture Raleth to come at him and begin their battle, it was the evening and the wind was flowing in a calm breeze. His eagle eye Compass was however not activated, revealing his now dull green eyes.

Raleth turned around and smirked at Zetzray, who had started to from the area they would fight. As Zetzray took off his mask, Raleth nearly fell down laughing. The onlookers were all gawking at the great "Boar Sage" "Twin Hurricanes" and a new one he heard was "The Green Falcon". Zetzray began to parade around, explaining what these people were about to see in his best showman's voice. Raleth laughed and turned around, looking at the ocean. He slowly took off his mask, and placed it on his shoulder. His ears flopped and twitched as the sea breeze hit his ears. He turned around, and opened his left eye, the one not covered by an eye patch. His eye glowed bright red, and everyone turned around to see him. Everyone gasped, and began to whisper "The Golem Sage!" "The Wolf King!" "Another Sannin!". Raleth then opened up his hands, revealing his weapon of choice: The Un-Serpents Wrath. As he began to charge chakra an ice-white aura began to form around them, chilling the very air. Raleth spoke, his voice booming towards his opponent.

"You are about to see a great fight between two Sannin! Zetzray of the Boar, and Raleth of the Golem! I would like to ask everyone to please watch out. We don't want anyone to get hit with out powerful jutsu!"

Raleth unwrapped his golem scroll, and placed it near the side of the ship. Raleth then spoke to Zetzray

"Alright, only D ranks! But No summons, especially your fat ass boars!"

Raleth laughed as he began to charge chakra, his eye changing from its deep red to the white area, where the pupil is black with golden sparks around it, a sign of an Ookami Sage. Raleth then dashed towards Zetzray, his speed making it look like he had almost disappeared, but to Zetzray Raleth would just be running towards him at an S rank speed. Raleth readied himself for a massive punch towards Zetzray's chest, with enough force to force him off the ship and into the water, yet kept his left hand near his chest for a counter attack. Raleth felt a bit excited, he hadn't battled Zetzray in a while.

Zetzray stared Raleth down as he uttered the words to the crowd which was now backing up in all directions, some in fear, some in excitement, others because everyone else was doing it. But the one thing that they all had in common was that they wee ready to see a good fight between two shinobi. Zetzray was already in a state where he was more than prepared for battle. It truly had been quite some time since the two of them had battled and even though this was not a battle to the death or a battle with their true abilities, it would still prove to be satisfying for the both of them. "Heh, I wonder if you can even fight without using your shadow clone technique. Apparently you've gotten really handy with it."

Zetzray drew Koten from its sheath slowly so that the Japanese inscription that spelled out "Push". "I dont think youve had the pleasure of being acquainted with Koten. I picked him up while I was in Morigakure." He would begin charging wind and chakra throughout it as he held a blank expression. Zetzray was at about the same speed as Raleth at the moment and his movements as always were straight forward. Zetzray would take a kunai out of his holster with his left hand and throw it straight for Raleth as he approached him and in his other hand he held Koten ready for the counter that was bound to come.

Zetzray's eyes were still a dull green. he felt no need to use his eagle eye compass on an ally and he was especially against using it unless he was prepared to take an enemies life. It was because of this that he would choose to hold this power back unless forced to utilize it.

Raleth smirked as his pupils enlarged, and as he ran he dropped on all fours, the kunai whizzing over Raleth's body as he was so low, his speed and reaction now 5% faster. At the close proximity Zetzray would have had much trouble in reacting, since his eagle eye compass and speed boost from it was not active. As Raleth went low he charged up, aiming to bash Zetzray in the stomach, which would wind him, then if it hit Raleth would follow up by grabbing Zetzray and ramming him into the wooden side of the ship, which would no doubt crack or even break the wooden railings. Because of the sudden increase in both speed and reaction, the attack was quite plausible. However Raleth still kept on the defensive, as his senses were increased he would be able to tell if Zetzray was charging a jutsu, and in fact, he could sense he was charging chakra throughout his blades. Though raleth attacked, he made sure to be wary enough to jump back in case of any jutsu.

The onlookers were amazed at the show of power from the two legendary sannin, and some cheered for summons, while others were a bit wary and searched for the life boats. However everyone felt that the power these two ninja had were unlike anything they've seen before, and in fact everyone wondered what type of attacks these ninja would do. Some thought they would conjure a giant lightning bolt, while others thought they would multiply themselves. It was obvious that these tourists had only heard rumors of ninja, let alone seen two Sannin fight. Yet they all hoped, these Sannin would keep their power in check lest they sink the boat.

Zetzray would pay close attention to Raleth's body movements as he approached. He was coming in fast and very low. Low to the point where the kunai that zetzray had thrown flew right over his head and then to the audience. The man that it was heading towards moved to the left and only his cheek was cut. Either way it did not matter to zetzeray, he was focused on this fight.

Zetzray would leap 9 feet into the air and slash his sword downward as Raleth would be passing under him, his blade would then release a crescent shaped blast that was 18 feet in length and 6 feet in width, Raleth would be in the center of the blast. The blast would fly down at Raleth at a speed of 20 feet per second. This would make it nearly impossible for him to dodge ever if he were to leap back, unless he leaped 9 feet forward. Zetzray would then begin to charge wind chakra throughout Koten once again along with wind.

The force of the wind blast would send Zetzray up into the air about 6 more feet above the ships surface. Zetzray smirked as he waited to see what Raleth would to to counter against this move. The odds were stacked against him for the moment. He was fast, but was he fast enough to evade an attack within a second or possibly under that. Zetzray was skeptical on whether to doubt him or not, only time would tell.

The boat was now approaching the island of the Vine country and they were about to be home finally. phase 4 would commence and Zetzray's plan would come to be true. He would add military power to their squad and they would be one step closer to their grand plan.

Raleth's nose burned as he could feel Zetzray about to release a wind attack, yet Raleth was too close to be able to doge the attack, so Raleth thought he would use it. Raleth brought both of his arms in an X formation and jumped back, the wind blast hitting him and launching him over board, crashing into the ocean. The onlookers all screamed as they say the Wolf King fall overboard, and many ran to the side to see if had indeed fallen over board. Some women screamed as they saw no body there, and everyone began to wonder if the Green Falcon had indeed killed his ally. However, this was all a ruse.

What Raleth had done was when he was forced over board he grabbed the railing and concentrated chakra onto his feet, and began running on the side of the boat, quickly and quietly. He had run to Zetzray's side of the boat, and as soon as the women had screamed Raleth jumped up and behind Zetzray, and if Zetzray had not had his Eagle Eye activated he would have no idea where Raleth was. Raleth, after jumping high, had brought his heel high, and aimed for an axe kick to Zetzray's shoulder. With the amount of force Raleth was putting behind it, the kick would be able to dislocated his shoulder and cause him to crash down, and possibly even break the wooden deck.

The people turned around to see the Wolf King in the air, just about to land a powerful kick to the Green Falcon, and they began to cheer. This fight was full of surprises, yet some people couldn't handle it. Some people ran under the decks after that wind blast that was released.

The fight raged on and neither zetzray nor raleth had landed a successful hit on the other. Two hours time had passed and the ship had finally docked in the land of the vines. the two ninja were home and they ceased fighting. the crowd cheered for the two of them as they exited the ship and made their way back to their home.

Zetzray was the first one to get off of the boat and onto land. he had everything with him: His blades, his scroll his compression suit and the skull that they had journeyed so far to acquire. It was time, the easiest phase of the task would come into play and the two ninja would be one giant step closer to the grand plan that they were hatching.

Zetzray and Raleth would make their way through the plants, trees and vines that the large forest had until they made it to the large mud chakra infused mote. "you know the drill, put your hand on my shoulder and lets cross"Raleth had to put his hand on zetzrays shoulder every time they would cross the mote because zetzrays chakra signature was intertwined with that of the boars and only a bor or someone like himself could pass.

They would cross the mote and make their way to the large hut that was stattioned far away from any of the other huts that decorated the swapy area of the boars. Zetzray was excited and nervous now, for he did not know what to expect, only what he wanted out of the situation. Whatever the results would hold, he would soon find out.

It took about three hours of walking, which could have been cut down a great deal if they had flied on zephyr but zetzray wanted to walk so that by the time they got to their hut it would be night time. they arrived and would begin phase four immediately.
