Arriving, Gathering and Departing

Zetzray looked around, the land seemed almost barren but he could tell that there was life lurking all around them. Zetzray turned to Raleth who was currently behind him. "All right now here's what we are going to do, you have memory of a Shinobu uchiha. Right?" Zetzray was expecting an immediate yes. Shinobu was an Uchiha that Raleth had faced off against quite sometime ago in a mission. Zetzray waited patiently for his reply.

Raleth stopped as Zetzray asked him about the Uchiha

"Shinobu...hmm..yes I recollect an Uchiha I fought years ago. He was an avid ninja, whose strength seemed t transcend his rank. If I recall the mission was to fight a traitor of Harikengakure...yes...his katon jutsu was high caliber. I still was able to defeat him, but he got away. Why do you ask of him?"

Raleth remembers the fight well. It was a good fight, but a quick one at that. Though the Uchiha was strong, he was still a B rank compared to Raleth, who was an A rank at the time, and apart of the ANBU.

Zetzray smirked as this was just what wanted to hear. "You also have a very keen sense of smell..i'm sure locating the dead body of this Shinobu would be an easy feat for you correct?" Zetzray was already sure that the answer was yes but he asked out of habit. Zetzray would then begin to chain together hand signs and charge chakra throughout his body.

Raleth then realized why they came to the Land of Blazes. He looked at Zetzray

"Yes I would be able to locate him. Even if he were dead, I would be able to find him. His scent is quite unique, even among other uchiha. I don't know what it was, but there was something strange about him."

Raleth started to slowly figure out the real reason they came to this god forsaken volcano; it was to find and resurrect the body of Shinobu. Why Zetzray chose an uchiha was beyond Raleth's understanding, and Raleth chose to not question it.

Zetzray's expression was now blank. "When you faced off against him, he was an A ranked ninja. I checked around and rumor has it that at the time of his death he was at the level of an S ranked ninja...so you should already know why were goig to go find him." Zetzray continued in his handsigns and lookec around once more with his eagle eye compass activated. It would be hard for the two of them to make their way around the land of the volcanoes, fortunately Zetzray had just the thing for this occasion.

Zetzray would await Raleth's reply while keeping the focus of chakra throughout his body, he had now completed his handsigns.

Raleth unhooked one of bottles of alcohol from his back and began to drink it, not offering one to Zetzray since he knew that Zetzray hated alcohol. Odd, as Raleth himself loved it. Raleth finished drinking the bottle and threw it on the side.

"So, what's your plan to find this powerful Uchiha? This land is huge, and has many different items. I thought this would only be a few day's trip, but your plan will take weeks, maybe even months. Nice planning..."

"Just watch Raleth.." Zetzray smirked as he bit his right thumb and slammed it onto the hot ground of the Volcano Land. From under his hand appeared a large cloud of smoke which Zetzray now stood on top of. Zetzray looked down over his shoulder at Raleth and smirked "I've already anticipated anything that might end up being an issue for us and calculated a strategy against it. Now hop on Zephyr and let's be on our way."

Zephyr:"Where are we heading to?"

Zetzray sighed "Just follow Raleth's directions, he will be leading us. Zetzray then sat on Zephyr and waited for Raleth.

Raleth turned around to look at Zetzray, as his senses were battered with a strong sense of chakra. The familiar plume of smoke rose, and was soon swept away by the wind, to reveal Zetzray's flying summon; A huge boar with wings, a cocky attitude, and sunglasses.

"Shit pigs and really fly..."

Raleth jumped high and landed on Zephyr, near his ears so he would be able to hear him. Raleth concentrated chakra on his feet, from the smell of this summon he gauged it was powerful, and no doubt a fast flyer. Raleth then closed his eyes, and focused charka into his nose, taking in every smell. He first needed to recall the memory of Shinobu, and of course needed to find a general direction. His ears twitched, and soon the smell of decay filled his nostrils. A grave site, a good place to start. Raleth told Zephyr

"Go north east, I'll tell you when to change direction."

Raleth sat down, and waited.

Zephyr took Raleth's command and headed east without question. the hot air of teh Volcano land was extreme, it proved to make even breathing more difficult than usual. Plumes of lava leaked across the ground in certain areas as the two ninja soared 90 feet above the barren land.

Zephyr was flying at a speed of 80 mph, which wasn't even half of what his optimal speed level could manage. Zetzray was sitting completely still with his eyes closed for he was trying to gather their surroundings and see just what type of land they were truly in. It was a great deal different from the Vine country, that was for certain. Zetzray however knew that the results would surely be worth the endeavor it took to achieve them.

Raleth commanded zephyr to go in different directions and Zephyr followed without objection. Zetzray was a bit confused on why zephyr was flying so slow. He was flying at a speed that Zetzray himself could top. Maybe it was because he was in an unfamiliar land. Truth be told, this was the first time that zetzray had summoned him outside of the country of the Vines and zetzray had no knowledge of him eve leaving the vine country. Whatever the reason was, Zetzray was fine with it because the slower Zephyr flied, the more he could gather in the surroundings with his compass.

Time continued to pass and Zetzray was hoping for Raleth to say the words "The Body should be right down there" However, he had yet to let the words leak from his mouth. Zetzray was becoming slightly impatient, as he knew this mission would take quite some time. they had been flying for hours already. But no matter how imatient he grew he had but one choice and that was to sit and wait for Zephyr and Raleth to play their part.

The heat of the lava, the plumes of soot and ash, had been affecting Raleth's sense of smell. He would have normally found the scent in an hour maximum, but the surrounding geography made it very difficult. Also, the Land of Blazes was an assortment of islands, and each one leaked both soot and ash. After hours of searching the familiar scent of Shinobu was hinted, along with a strong sense of decay. Raleth crouched next to Zephyr

"Go down on the island below us. I feel our target is there!"

As Zephyr landed Raleth jumped down, and scanned the surroundings. The island they were on was quite small, only about 50 feet in diameter, and to Raleth, and a thick smell of decay and death. Raleth started to explore, looking for the body of Shinobu. He walked through the near empty island, until he came upon a crypt with the Uchiha Fan on it. He placed his hand on it, and concentrated chakra into his nose.

He was brought with a memory, a memory of when he was a Jounin in Harikengakure. Of when he met up with a hot Uchiha upstart, who dared threatened the village he swore to protect. Of how he battled the Uchiha, and battled his powerful Doujutsu. Raleth turned around.

"He's here..."

Zetzray looked over at Zephyr "Wait out here. This will only take an hour at the most. If anyone suspicious comes by poof yourself back to the land of the vines understood?" zephyr nodded his head and upon doing so Zetzray walked into the crypt behind Raleth. Zetzray would have no way of knowing where the body would be so he would have to follow closely behind Raleth and wait for him to direct Zetzray to the position of the bodies remains. He followed intently as they walked through the crypt.

Raleth walked to through the crypt, Zetzray close behind him. He searched for Shinobu, which was still quite challenging even though they were in close proximity. The smell of decay was thick. They walked through thick spider webs, and Raleth could hear the sound of maggots feasting upon the corpses of these once powerful ninja. As they searched they found a huge corridor leading to a beautifully ornate door with the Uchiha symbol with an Uchiha eye in the center. The eye however did not have the three tomoe, but instead a more advanced looking eye. Raleth had no idea what it was.

Raleth opened the door and found the body of Shinobu, his skull on a table, with candles surrounding it.

"Well obviously he had some importance to the Uchiha. Well take your shit and let's get out."

Zetzray walked into the room slowly making sure to take a good look at everything in the room. White and red fans, the symbol of the uchiha were painted all over the walls. Zetzray made his way over to the skull located in the direct center of the room. He picked it up and studied it closely for a while, It seemed to be in great condition. if this was truly was the skull of Shinobu Uchiha then Zetzray would have accomplished his mission and his theory about the ninja would have also been correct.

Zetzray would leave the crypt with the skull and Raleth and hop on Zephyr, they would then leave in the direction of the dock. "So...They gave him a type of shrine huh? If this is the case, then we just increased our strength exponentially." Zetzray smirked as he thought of the possibilities and the capabilities that this ninja would hold. The depths of his powers still unkown. Raleth had faced off against this ninja 3 years ago and back then he was able to defeat him, not with ease but still defeat him none the less. But after three years passed, the abilities of Shinobu must have doubled or possibly even tripled. Zetzray assumed that he already had the power to utilize three tomoe while in his sharingan state. But to what degree he had mastered it was unkown. Zetzray was ready to burst with excitement, an emotion that he rarely had the pleasure of experiencing.

One thing worried him greatly however. He had tried to utilize the technique knoqn as the Edo Tensei once before... but it did not go as he had planned and ended up horribly. In fact if it hadnt been for a technique developed by his own clan, he would have been a goner.

It Was Noon, 2 and a Half Years in The Past and Zetzray Was Preparing Something.

"It will be ready soon...but i'll have to finish this as quickly as possible..less i want someone to find me out. That would make me a missing ninja instantly and I would be hunted down bu ninja from all corners of the globe." A bead of sweat dropped down Zetzrays neck as he said this.
Zetzray stood in a large hut off in the outskirts of the Boar swamp. The tent itself remained within the perimeter of the large chakra infused mud mote that surrounded the swamp. But it was far away from where any Boar would interupt or see what he was doing. the Hut itself was 40 feet by 40 feet, which was the perfect size for the procedure that Zetzray was about to execute. He had all of the necessary materials, all he needed now was to pull it off and do it in a timely fashion, meaning as soon as possible.

There was a large seal that was approximately 20 feet in diameter. The seal held a large 8 pronged star on the inside of it and each point on the star had a long line that streamed from the tip of the point to the wall, making the length of the seal the size of the room to be technical. It was here that zetzray would attempt it, he would clash with the heavens and display his strength. He would bring the dead back among the living, a feat that had never been recorded to have been done properly.

The fact that it had never been done properly before his attempt made zetzray anxious, nervous and determined all at the same time. He wasnt sure what to expect but he knew exactly what he was aiming for.

A week prior to what zstzray was about to attempt, he was walking through a village in the Vine country. By this time he already had knowledge reguarding the Edo tensei and was planning at some point to attempt it.he told himself that he would attempt it when he was ready or when an opportunity presented itself. Little did he know, an opportunity would be laying right in front of him on his way out of the village that day.

It was sundown and people were retreating to their homes, some to hotels and others to bars. Zetzray was heading out of the village and to the Boar swamp. He was planning to go spar a bit with Raixen, he was feeling a bit rusty with his swordsman ship and wanted to have a bit of practice. But on his way out he saw a female with a vine ninja headband around her arm. zetzray looked left and then right, no one was there. he checked the pulse of the woman and found out she was dead and from the look of her colorless face, poison had done the deed. Zetzray picked her up and leaned her head on his chest so that anyone walking by would think that she was just asleep and that zetzray was carrying her back to their home. A woman walking by with her fiance actually commented in asking her fiance why he never carried her like that. Zetzray was reassured by this and continued on to his hut.

Upon arrival Zetzray placed the body in a corner and retreated to his room for an hour. During this time he was checking the forbidden book he held on the Edo Tensei to see what he would need for the jutsu. He left his room and walked over to the woman and took a look at her face, he lifted it up and her body seemed like it could still be used. It was because of this that Zetzray did not go and get a live sacrifice, instead he would use the body only.

A week passed and Zetzray was about to begin the ritual. He drew one feather from his pouch and threw it in front of himself and after the necessary handsigns 1 feather clone was summoned. The feather clone drew both Koten and Koshima in case of an unexpected attack. zetzray would then begin to chain together handseals at a great pace. It was then that the seal started to glow a bright purple. the dead woman layed flat on her back on the seal and she began to get wrapped in the purple chakra. This went on for 5 minutes before progressing to the next stage of the ritual which was the ash that zetzray had gathered and sprinkled around the room began to attract to the body of the woman and cover her, her body was now shrinking and condensing into the form of a sphere covered in ash. Arms were coming out of it in random places and legs as well. The face of the woman appeared on the center of this orb, her eyes bright purple and the void of her mouth bright purple as well. It then uttered the words in a muffled and distorted voice "Allow me to become complete!"

At that moment, arms stretched from the sphere and were heading straight for Zetzray. His eyes widened and he was now in fear that he would become the sacrifice for his own jutsu. but it was then that his feather clone leaped in front of him and was dragged into the center of the sphere. Zetzray was unable to move, for when this process took place the user of the jutsu had to stay within 8 feet of the seal.

The sphere began to stretch out and condense until it was sculpted into the form of a young woman. she was without a doubt the woman that Zetzray was trying to resurrect. He had done it. Or so he thought. It was when the woman began to speak saying "What is it you wish for me to do fo-" that she began to spark with purple chakra. And then without any warning she bursted like a balloon. Blood painted the walls and organs decorated the floor and in the center of it all, layed a now red feather.

Zetzray passed out from the amount of chakra consumed by this technique and the shock of what just took place. he could barely believe it. but when he awoke, he would realize thatit had all happened just the way he had seen it. He had failed at bringing a human back to life. And with nothing else left for him in that room he stood up, covered in blood and left it, never to return.


Zetzray Now sat on Zephyr, his eyes closed.

He thought to himself "It wont be like last time...this time ill execute it perfectly. ill bring back Shinobu and correct my last mistake.. it wont be like last time.." And with that Zetzray layed down on zephyr who was flying at 60 mph, 90 feet above the barren terrain of the volcano land. He was ready and nothing would stop him now as he held the skeletal key to his success in his hands.

Raleth looked at Zetzray, who was holding the skull and studying closely.

"Alright so we have a skull of some powerful Uchiha? What the hell is next? Are we gonna do some kind of ritual and summon his soul back?"

Raleth knew the answer. As Zephyr came close to the dock Zetzray had unsummoned him, so that no one would be able to tell that the Boar Sage had been in the land of heat. They began to walk towards the dock, ready to get back to the land of vines, making sure not to leave any trace of them being in the Land of Blazes. Soon, very soon, the world was to be surprised by the power of these two.
